Indeed, and it only means you're 1 year closer to a job. And lemme tell you any day in college is better than some 9-5 job. Plus there's summer, winter break, chicks all over. I need not go on.

Does your school allow you to graduate after 1st semester senior year? That way you can play football still. I could have done this, but I would have had to drop a study hall this semester and next semester and take another class. I decided not to mainly because high school isn't too bad and I want to be with my friends, go to prom, etc. If you seriously don't like school and all your friends will be gone then why not do it? From what you say it sounds like graduating and going to college is what you want to do.

If you plan on playing a sport in college this will drastically hurt your chances. The only players that I know of that left HS early to play in college are both at USC. John David Booty did it and the new catcher for the baseball team, Robert Frost did it, both of them were consensus HS All-Americans, and I think if you had those honors then you would have told us by now.
If not, talk to your councilor. It will more productive than asking a bunch of meatheads who do not know yu personally, as this is a HUGE decision for someone to make at 17 years old.Ladies and gentlemen please, would you bring your attention to me, for a feast for your eyes to see, an explosion of catastrophe, like nothing you've ever seen before, watch closely as I open this door, your jaws will be on the floor, after this you'll be begging for more.

You guys make it sound so easy, in order to get credits for taking your AP Courses, you have to take AP Exams and score well on them. Usually a 4 or a 5 out of 5 to get college credit for the class, and then a lot of times colleges are stupid and don't give you the credit. Stay for football for sure though and talk to your guidance counselor.
