My 12 Week Journey following CHA Program
Hello everyone! I am starting a new journal in here so that I can get all the support and advice in the next 12 weeks while following CHA Diet and Training. It was developed by Derek, and by reading other people's journals for whom he had developed the plans they seem to be getting to their goal... so I am hoping he can help me get to mine!
I am officially starting Sunday, but decided to unofficially start today and see how I feel and get feedback before I actually start it.
My goal is - FAT LOSS!
I have been after this goal for some time now but keep on bouncing back and forth so I hope I can stick to this for the next 12 weeks!
This is how my diet looks today:
Pre WO - SF Red Bull + 1/2 PP
1. PP + 1 oz Feta + 2tbl PB
2. 6EW + 1E + 1oz Avocado + 1/2c Green Beans + 6.5oz Grapefruit
3. 3/4 CC + Almonds + 3.5oz Blueberries
4. 5 EW + 1/4CC + Almond Butter + Green Beans
5. Tuna + Olive + Avocado + Lettuce
Today's totals = 178P/67F/69C
Today woke up at 5:10
Hours slept - 7
Training - Delts/Traps/Core ->Done!
Right after training I jogged for 30 minutes outside! It felt great!

Welcome! Stick to your plan a prescibed and you'll get the results you're after! I'm on Lean Mass, so can't help you out with CHA (although it seems to me that I'm the ONLY ONE ON HERE WHO ISN'T CUTTING right now, so there are plenty of people to give advice on CHA). With that said, I can tell you that no matter what plan you're following, you must not add your own little excuses to it! Do what it says (This was my week of reckoning with that bit of advice.)
The red bull... yeah, I used to drink that stuff. I was also hooked on other silly caffeinated drinks like Spike Shooters and Endo-Rush. Just ditch the Red Bull. Er, ween yourself off it. If you follow the plan, you'll find that you don't need it and you won't miss it.
Best pre-workout shake: Xtend+Vasocharge!

Thanks, I'll check those out... The red bull that I was drinking is sugar free, it has I think like 3 g of carbs for the can...

I am liking my meals so far... I just hope that I don't gain more weight as my body isn't used to eating this much protein and fat...
I will go after work and hopefully get some Xtend so that I can take it before my HIIT Tomorrow... I can't wait to try as others love it so so much....

Hi there,
Something that I've read is great for energy is SAN's tight. I use to take it a while back (2006) when I started working out and it really gave me energy. I always did my cardio in the AM on an empty stomach.
Right now I take Xtend before a little before and during my weight sessions and I love it. I take a Tight pill mid afternoon for energy.
If you can, buy the supps from bodybuilding.com, the prices are MUCH better and the service IMO, is great.

I'm pretty sure the coffee is okay - unless you're adding heaps of sugar and cream! I drank 1 cup of black coffee per day until I started taking Dialene 4 last week - then I switched to decaf, just because the Dialene already has caffeine and Vaso does as well.... so I didn't want to go overboard.

As far as coffee, I drink it plain or add some stevia.
As far as lifts, nah, I don't think that's heavy compared to all these people... I like Xtend I got Lemonade flavor, but am planning on getting maybe a diff flavor... it seems that watermelon is getting great reviews...

Coffee with a calorie-free sweetener is 100% fine.

Oh by the way it is finally confirmed that my scale is showing 2lb more than actual... I've weighed myself before leaving to work and then at work. Did the same before the gym and then when I got to the gym... so maybe I am not 127.5 but 125.5...

it's soooooooo good!!!!
Don't worry about the exact #'s on the scale - a lot of scales differ. Just make sure you use the same scale each time to track your progress!
