Sup's for people over 200 lbs????

As you all know, there are a ton of supplements on the market and even double the hype. I've tried just about every supplement out there at some point in my life. When I first started training (15 years ago at 130 lbs) most everything worked. But the more time I put in and muscle I gained, it seems that most supplements simply do not work for me anymore. So I went back to the basics: protein (which I'll always take), old school creatine mono with grape juice, multi's and a solid diet with heavy training. Those things combined have been tried and true, and will always work. Please note that I'm not bashing any particular supplement company, but seriously, I've wasted $50 here and there countless times on sup's that may indeed work; they just didnt have any effect on me.

However, I'm wanting to gain more mass (as well as lose a little body fat, like all of us!) and I'm wondering if anyone out there can give me advice on supplements for someone like myself. I feel that maybe I've reached a certain level in size (not that I'm huge..gotta long way to go) to where my body will not respond to most sup's out there and may need something extreme. No offense, but I see that the majority of postings here are from smaller guys (weight-wise) and much of their input/experience is not going to benefit those who are more experienced.

I will admit I did 2 moderate A.S. cycles about 8 years ago, which I obviously made great gains from. I'm also wondering since I've already went that route, if that may be a reason sup's dont work for me. I know we have all of these famous bodybuilders endorsing sup companies and I'm sure they're taking these sup's, but let's be honest, that's not all they're on. Not bashing ot judging by any means and I respect these guys whetehr they're juicing or not; its part of the sport. I'm just looking for a legal way to get bigger, as I'm tempted to go back to A.S. Man, the prices of AA seem to be much cheaper than the sup's out there these days if you know what to stack!

Any advice/input/suggestions is greatly appreciated. Sorry for the lengthy post/questions, but I'm hoping someone out there is where I'm at and can relate and offer some help!

Nice intro post, I can really hear where you're coming from man... I think you already have it figured out for the most part. Protein is king and nothing replaces hard work and TIME.

If you're bulking, what comes to mind is possibly something specific for pre-bed or possibly a cell volumizer such as GlycerGROW. I can also hook you up with some free CONTROLLED LABS samples if you're interested (tell your gym buds too):
