    Examples of low intensity cardio..

When people refer to low-moderate intensity cardio, what are some examples of this?

I've been walking for 30 minutes on 3.0-3.5mph, with incline starting at 13.5 and upping it to 15.0 (max) by about 20 minutes and finishing it off at 15 incline after about an hour of lifting. I don't think those treadmill calorie counters are exactly accurate, but it generally reads out at roughly 500 calories by the time I'm through, heart rate usually stays around 138bpm.
"I don't believe in following any one training style. I couldn't tell what DC or H.I.T. or FST-7 entail. I have no clue and really don't give a ****. I go to the gym to train hard. I don't need to follow a ****ing "program" to do that." - Evan Centopani

Any exercise that doesn't get you breathing heavy. Low intensity should feel "easy," and you shouldn't be drained or exhausted after. Walking, Cycling, Elliptical Machine, and leisurely swimming are examples.

Low intensity you could carry on a conversation with somebody, no problem, complete a crossword, read a magazine, whatever.

Moderate intensity, you're breathing decently but not gasping for air or anything. Probably can't really concentrate 100% on the magazine article or tv screen on the treadmill.

High intensity, breathing too hard to carry on a real conversation, too tired to care to listen to the people talk on Sports Center, and moving way too much to fill in 4 Down.
