Probably the only bodybuilder that had the potential to beat a prime Ronnie Coleman. He lacked the mindset to be the best.

Extremely underrated and one of my favorites from the best era. He really had no weaknesses, very complete physique.

Not sure bout Coleman but I can see Chris beating Phil heath (inb4 negs) if he had the right mindset. He use to beat Lee Priest, Dexter Jackson, Kevin Levrone and Shawn Ray.

He was known across the board for his notorious partying and not giving 100%, who knows if he could have been a lot better but i'm sure it would have helped if he was more consistent

its been many years but the way i remember it was that cormier was beating ray wheeler and levrone only at the tail end of their careers, and the talk about him being a threat to coleman was purely hype/propeganda by the weider publications to drum up excitement for the olympias that coleman was dominating. see also gunter winning the gnc show of strength.

cormier was excellent, but didn't have the mass to threaten for the title.

I guess you never saw Ronnie in person, when he was in his prime. Chris was great, but way far from Ronnie.

But... I will say, it's a shame that Ronnie couldn't pose as well as Chris.
