Probably the only bodybuilder that had the potential to beat a prime Ronnie Coleman. He lacked the mindset to be the best.

Extremely underrated and one of my favorites from the best era. He really had no weaknesses, very complete physique.

He was known across the board for his notorious partying and not giving 100%, who knows if he could have been a lot better but i'm sure it would have helped if he was more consistentOriginally Posted by CactusJackWWE

its been many years but the way i remember it was that cormier was beating ray wheeler and levrone only at the tail end of their careers, and the talk about him being a threat to coleman was purely hype/propeganda by the weider publications to drum up excitement for the olympias that coleman was dominating. see also gunter winning the gnc show of strength.
cormier was excellent, but didn't have the mass to threaten for the title.
