Talking cardio 4-5 times a week? too much? REPS

Just trying to lose my remaining fat on my abs. (avatar is old) I'm about 178 now with very little fat over my abs but just enough so I can't see my lower two abs and they arent very defined. Lately I've been doing cardio PWO for 10-15 mins, I work out 4 times a week so I'll just do cardio PWO on those days. BUT I have one off day on wednesday and I was just thinking maybe I should go in and do a longer cardio session like 30 mins and abs?

    Would that be too much?

Goal is to lose maybe 5lbs TOPS (assuming abs are visable after 5lbs) in 25 days cause I'm going to Cancun on the 7th.

Sound like you're taking the right approach to cardio. Perhaps try HIIT to switch things up. Looking nicely defined though so I wouldn't say there's too much fat to lose. Enjoy Cancun!

you could definitely throw in some HIIT to get little quicker results, just running a risk of overtraining, so you have to be careful

oh and 4-5x a week, low intensity would work great, speed up recovery, reduce risk of overtraining.

In My Opinion, cardio 4-5 times a week is not too much.
Just try low-moderate intensity cardio (55%-65% of Max Heart Rate) first thing in the morning for 30-40 minutes.
Don't forget to take some whey protein / BCAA's before cardio to minimize muscle catabolism.

    Hope that helps....
I'll rep U back if U rep me first...

Only problem is I can't do cardio in the morning cause I work at 8. And how do I determine 55%-65% of my max heart rate? Would this low-moderate intensity cardio be beneficial PWO? Or would a higher heart rate be better (PWO).
