Work out cut short
I went to the gym today with the intention of doing back/bis.
For Bis I did the following exercises:
12.5 lbs bicep curls 10x3
12.5 lbs hammer curls 10x3
35/40? lbs EZ bar curls 10x3
One of the workers at the gym didn't know how much the EZ bar weighed, but he estimated 25-30 lbs. He then proceeded to tell me he could try to find one that's lighter for me. Needless to say, I was not happy to hear that and politely declined.
I added 10 lbs to the EZ bar and did my sets. I think I'm capable of adding 20 as long as I do the EZ bar curls as my first exercise.
Anyway, at this point my arms were dead. I decided it'd be better for me to train my back on another day because my arms were too tired at this point to do anything with proper form. Was this a bad decision?
Since I couldn't do back, I ran on the treadmill for 10 minutes at level 5, walked for 5 minutes at level 3, ran for 10 minutes at level 5 and then walked for a few minutes to cool down. Total: 27 minutes
I have a healthy diet, but I need to add more protein shakes in order to get the recommended amount of protein.
As a cheat food I have half a pint of Low Fat Cherry Garcia frozen yogurt, and the other half the next night. Total: 1 pint a week. I used to eat Light Phish Food, but that had about 4.5g of sat fat per serving as opposed to Cherry Garcia's 2g. My bf teases me and tries to make me feel guilty for eating ice cream, but is it really that bad? It keeps me on track knowing I'm allowed to have one treat per week.
