    elbow pain during tricep, chest, and shoulder excercises

    i am a literally depressed because this did not happen before. most tricep excercises and shoulder/chest like smith machine bench after a few reps my elbows start hurting. please tell me the best way to fix it. it literally just happened this week.

    the solution, most likely, lies within the shoulder. you're off up top which is ****ing things up down the chain, so you need to restore balance to your shoulder girdle.

    could it be forearms because i never isolate them. also why is my elbow failing me now? :/ it was fine before

    Like I said, it's probably not your elbow. It's failing now because you've probably developed a structural imbalance in your physique. It's hard to say with the information you've given.

    Also, smith machine is a horrible piece of equipment. Have you tried dumbbell benching? It allows for a more natural range of motion.
