Well, it's not flax oil, but it's pretty much the same thing:
Ascenta NutraSea - Original (Lemon Flavour) - Actually tastes like lemon...it's still gross gulping down oil but it's not as nasty as flax. I'm in Canada though, so I'm not sure if it's available elsewhere...

You could get flax seeds from a health food store, they have a slightly nutty taste.

Mix it in your protein shakes. After a couple of shakes you will get use to the taste and not really notice it!

Just a FYI for you ladies:
1 pill/softgel = 1gr of Flaxseed oil (or any oil)
1 tsp = 5grs
1tsbp of oil = 15grs of oil.
Moral of the story? Don't waste your time with flaxseed oil pills. If you are determine in taking pills/softgels instead of the oil, just drop the flax and stick to some good* quality fish oil (EPA/DHA).
* A 300 count bottle at your local megamart does not constitute good quality.

I agree. Just buy the seeds and sprinkle them on things (salads, etc.). They are non-offensive and provide an insane amount of fiber. They even have some protein.

I'm not sure I agree with the flax seeds...Of course, they won't hurt - but you will never be able to eat the amount of flax seeds required to get the same benefits that 1 tbsp of flax oil has.
The oil is so highly concentrated...it's a mega-dose of flax in one shot. Now if you want to be munching down piles of flax seeds daily...go right ahead, but I wouldn't do it.

I followed a raw diet for quite a while and was eating flax seeds/meal daily. Any raw food website will have great recipes that include flax meal and/or seeds. The only warning though, they can cause a lot of discomfort in your tummy if your not careful. Some people are sensitive to them, others aren't. Trial and error I assume.
