Deadlift lower back injury
2 months ago I was warming up on deadlifts during leg day. I usually use good form but I lost focus and didn't use enough legs. I thought I heard a pop or crack maybe, then I could barely stand up. It doesn't hurt a lot but it is uncomfortable still. Luckily I can still workout my upper body, and on leg day I still do presses, extentions, curls. I feel like I should probably rest but I cannot stay out of the gym.
Any advice/diagnosis would be greatly appreciated!

Last time I heard a pop in my low back, it was a disc herniating...and I ended up having spine surgery. The good news, is I was able to work up to a 405x1 deadlift @ 190 BW.
However, you should be very careful with low-back intensive exercises from now on. If the pain gets progressively worse or ends up radiatiing down your leg or causing numbness, tingling, pins & needles, burning, coldness, etc, that would be indicitive of a nerve impingement. If you get to that point, get an MRI and feel free to PM me if you want more details about my spine surgery and treatments I tried leading up to it...
Hopefully, it's just a bad sprain and you'll be fine in 4-6 weeks if you go easy and RICE it.

Thanks a lot man! Yea hopefully its not a disk, but I'm really worried it could be. I better take it easy, although it is very hard to stay out of the gym.

Orthopedic Doctors/Specialists> BB.com
No one can diagnose even remotely correctly without examining you. Ive seen people who thought they had pulled hip flexors who really had some nasty strains.. like myself.

I strained my back really bad but I found a good chiropractor to help get things worked out back there. They did electric stimulation and massaged it.
