Anyone ever have a patellar subbluxation? If so...
How long did it take before you could fully sprint, cut and squat after injuring yourself?
It's been about a month and a week now... my knee feels a lot better than before... but when I flex my quad... try to sprint a bit my knee will hurt, but like just above my knee cap... it's kind of weird, any idea how much longer it will take?
Also, I haven't torn anything.
Edit: Also like 1 week-2 weeks ago I was foolin around with my friends playin touch rugby... so I may have sprinted a bit but it didn't hurt my knee... I just hope I didnt damage it further.

Have you done any physical therapy for it? I dislocated mine in october during football and it took about a month of rehab after the season for it to be good enough to work out fully. But I still had to go slowly with weight lifting and running. After three weeks of taking it slow I was as good as new.

No I haven't, doc said i didn't need it. I can actually run and stuff, like jog pretty quick but I have to run more on my calve to make it smoother for my knee, But i can't do squats like butt to the ground or it hurts my knee no matter what the weight is, I can do deadlifts perfectly though.

Athletes shouldn't be doing ATG Squats anyways... (anyone who disagrees, show me your research and I'll show you mine, I've had MANY arguments about this on here and I absolutely refuse to believe that ATG squats do nothing but set a person up for torn cartilage in their knees)

I've done the same thing to my right knee about 5 times or so. If you can, do rehab. Dont do quad extensions! horrible on your patella. One exercise I like to do is light one legged presses...works great. Just really try to avoid physical contact until that muscle (cant remember what its called) gets stronger... About 4 months after I initially hurt my knee I thought it was 100% healed and I hurt it even worse. Be patient. Ice!

After thinking about it i got a couple more suggestions. Im not sure if this would completely pertain to you but stretching helped me a lot. Also for my situation it also decreased the risk of it happening again (once you dislocate your knee once, the chances of it happening again are significantly greater than usual.)
Some of the stretches ill do almost every day are a hamstring stretch, standing quad, and an it band.
I also try to do some light lifts for lots of reps that helps. Like light sets of single leg leg extensions (2x15 a leg), some single leg squats, and some single leg leg press.
It may be extremely beneficial to do some research for your specific situation so you can prevent it from happening again and getting your knee significantly better.
