GreeneMachine's Intrastack Experience
The Intrastack
Intrabolic
Stimulate The Anabolic Response DURING Exercise And Build Muscle Fast!
What is the point of investing your hard earned money on supplements that claim to be the latest and greatest phenomenon when they are not going to help you during your workouts?
Bodybuilding is about body - building. During workouts, muscles are torn down and fatigue can be a tremendous challenge. By providing your muscles with effective nutrients during your workout, you will boost the anabolic response, fight the catabolic effects of exercise and delay muscular fatigue, ultimately leading to new muscle gains!
Continuing to evolve with the latest advancements in Nutrient Timing Science, we bring you IntrAbolic:
Intra (During) + Anabolic (Muscle building) = IntrAbolic, The Pioneer of DURING-Workout supplementation
IntrAbolic? Highlights:
Stimulate the Anabolic Response - Build Muscle Fast
Fight Muscle Breakdown - Boost Recovery
Increase Muscular Strength & Endurance
Increase Muscle Fullness and Vascularity
IntrAbolic-Peptides providing 70-80% rapidly absorbed, low-molecular weight di-and tripeptides
Shake and mix, NO blender needed
What makes IntrAbolic so unique and effective?
Custom Whey Protein Hydrolysate = IntrAbolic-Peptides?
IntrAbolic works by utilizing a unique whey protein hydrolysate (WPH) found exclusively in IntrAbolic. Our custom WPH has undergone a high degree of hydrolysis (over 30%) which supplies primarily low-molecular weight, di-and tripeptides we refer to as IntrAbolic-Peptides?. Unlike standard intact proteins and long chain peptides, IntrAbolic-Peptides? do not have to undergo the typical slow digestive process. Their unique properties also allow them to utilize a highly efficient transport system, specific to di-and tripeptides. Unlike regular amino acids derived from intact proteins which are slow to enter the bloodstream, IntrAbolic-Peptides are rapidly absorbed, causing a tremendous spike in extracellular amino acids. Research has shown, it is extracellular amino acid concentrations that stimulate and signal our bodies to increase protein synthesis and maximize the anabolic response. Concurrently, this large amino acid spike causes an insulin increase to fight muscle breakdown which occurs during training. Rapid and efficient absorption also makes these peptides ideal for use during your workout as they will not cause bloating or stomach discomfort like other intact proteins.
Free-form amino acids
Another highly efficient and rapid way to get amino acids into the blood (second only to WPH) is through ingestion of free-form amino acids (ffAA's). Intensive nutrient timing research studies show ffAA's (due to their quick absorption) can cause a big spike in blood plasma amino acid concentrations and when timed properly with exercise, may illicit a much greater anabolic response from exercise than intact proteins can. Combining WPH with ffAA's creates a powerful one-two punch in boosting anabolism and fighting catabolism. The beauty of combining di-and tripeptides from WHP with ffAA's is both use different intestinal transporters to carry them into the blood, maximizing absorption speed with very little redundancy. Current research shows that di- and tripeptides may actually enhance the ffAA's transporters, further increasing the rate of absorption.
Leucine
This powerhouse amino acid has been shown in research to both directly stimulate protein synthesis and indirectly by increasing the hormone insulin, which is both anabolic and anti-catabolic. Simply put, this is one of the most effective amino acids you can take intra-workout and further enhances the anabolic response when other essential amino acids are present.
Beta-Alanine, Carnosine Booster
Touted as the biggest scientific breakthrough since creatine, the amino acid beta-alanine has exploded into the sports nutrition industry, as more people find out just how effective this supplement really is. This worldwide explosion can largely be credited to the enormous popularity of our formula, IntraXCell, The World's First dedicated carnosine booster. When taken at a minimum dose of 3.2g per day, its cumulative effects when taken daily for 1-2 weeks, can impact your workout performance greatly.
Much of beta-alanine's effects are realized by boosting the synthesis of a intracellular (inside the cell) buffer called carnosine. Carnosine is a dipeptide, composed of the amino acids, beta-alanine and histidine and has the ability to stabilize muscular pH by soaking up fatigue causing hydrogen ions(H+).
It has been dosed perfectly to stack with IntraXCell to maximize the speed of carnosine synthesis and bring about big gains in strength, muscle and endurance.. fast!
Electrolytes/minerals
The importance of replacing the electrolytes: sodium, potassium and chloride should not be overlooked since, during exercise, we are losing electrolytes at an accelerated rate. Just as important, is their ability to assist in the absorption of fluid and carbohydrate uptake in the gut. The minerals calcium and magnesium are included as they are needed for muscular contraction and muscular growth. When magnesium levels are low during exercise, research has shown fatigue increases.
IntraXcell
When You Think Of Beta-Alanine, We Dare You Not To Think Of IntraXCell!
The World?s First Beta-Alanine, Carnosine Boosting Formula In Convenient Capsule Form! Boost Strength And Increase Lean Muscle Gains With IntraXCell!
History Is About To Be Made Once Again!
Until now, creatine, with numerous research studies to support its effectiveness, was the leading supplement for improving exercise and muscular performance. Since creatine made its explosion into the sports nutrition world in the early nineties, our understanding of exercise physiology and sports nutrition has evolved exponentially. Recent research is giving rise to another supplement breakthrough?one that will change the direction of the industry like creatine did so many years ago. The research supported, IntraXCell is the next breakthrough supplement for increasing explosive strength, muscle mass and endurance.
IntraXCell Highlights:
Boosts Explosive Muscular Strength & Power Output.
Increase Muscle Mass.
Increase Anaerobic Muscular Endurance.
Increase Aerobic Endurance.
Delay Muscular Fatigue - Train Harder & Longer
Increase Muscle Fullness and Vascularity
No Bloating or Water-Retention
While other supplement companies talk a big game, making unsubstantiated claims with no scientific support, Athletic Edge Nutrition is different. We are a new breed of supplement company. We raise the standard, by placing our exact formula (IntraXCell) through the rigors of a scientific research study. In doing so, we want to prove to you that IntraXCell delivers the promised results and will meet and exceed your highest expectations!
A research study, on 18 collegiate wrestlers using IntraXCell for 8 weeks, has just been completed. The results were staggering. IntraXCell caused huge increases in anaerobic strength, power and muscular endurance!
*Kern BD, Robinson TL, Manninen AH. Effects of beta-alanine supplementation on exercise performance during a competitive wrestling season: An 8-week open label pilot study. (Manuscript under review).
How does IntraXCell work?
While beta-alanine is largely responsible for the majority of performance benefits you gain from IntraXCell, there are other contributing factors to the science of IntraXCell. First, we will discuss some key issues occurring during exercise that limit us from reaching our strength and muscle mass goals. We will then explain how IntraXCell effectively targets these limitations.
What stops us from making new muscle gains, big increases in strength and limits us from reaching our full potential?
The sequence of events looks like this:
Our energy systems release large amounts of hydrogen ions(H+) during high intensity exercise.
H+ cause fatigue and cause your muscles pH to drop (become more acidic)
As our muscles pH quickly drops, so does your strength, while muscular fatigue increases
At the same time, fatigue causing free radicals are increased with exercise.
The Result of these events: Strength plummets, fatigue sets in and muscles are not adequately worked. Without sufficient overload, your muscles cannot and will not grow.
How can IntraXCell combat these events?
By dramatically boosting the levels of a powerful H+ buffer inside our muscles called carnosine.
Carnosine is a naturally occurring di-peptide that has the ability to stabilize muscular pH by soaking up (H+)
Carnosine is found in both type I and type II muscle fibers, but is highest in type II muscle fibers. Type II muscle fibers are primarily used in high intensity strength workouts and are most responsive to muscular growth.
By increasing carnosine concentrations in type II muscle fibers, you greatly enhance their ability to buffer/absorb increased amounts of H+ that are released during exercise.
Includes the antioxidants NAC, ALA and Vitamin E, which work synergistically along with carnosine to combat fatigue causing, free radicals.
The End Result: IntraXCell keeps us in an optimal pH range by buffering/absorbing H+, while simultaneously fighting fatigue-causing, free radicals. In doing so, our muscles are able to perform at much higher levels.

Diet:
I'm currently trying to cut bodyfat while retaining muscle mass and maybe even increasing muscle mass. My diet throughout the duration of this log will be very clean. I will try my best to minimize unheathly foods.
What I hope to achieve with Intrastack:
Like I've already mentioned I am trying to cut, so I hope the Intrastack will help me retain and build upon the lean muscle mass I already have while allowing me to cut bodyfat. I also hope to see a significant increase in muscle endurance and recovery time, as I have once before when I logged IntraXCell in an un-sponsored log. Oh how I've missed those tingles.

Sorry about delay
So my computer has been acting up lately so I haven't been able to get my workouts from this week up. I had some virus that was messing everything up but I finally got it taken care of. So here's how my first week with the INTRASTACK has been so far.
**DAY 1 - Sunday**
Chest and Back:
Bench - 3 x 10 - 155, 175, 195
Low row - 3 x 10 - 115, 135, 155
Incline Bench - 3 x 10 - 115, 135, 135
Cybex Incline pull - 3 x 10 - 155, 170, 170
Decline Bench - 3 x 10 - 115, 135, 155
Pullover - 3 x 10 - 70, 80, 85
Pec Dek - 3 x 10 - 110, 120, 130
So my first day with Intrabolic was quite pleasant I must say. I've never used an Intra workout supplement before and I've realized that I enjoy it alot. My energy stayed up throughout my entire workout and I noticed a increase in recovery within my first few sets. Vey pleased so far.
Intrabolic
Taste: 8/10 - The taste is very good. I'm not a big fan of apples but it's definately drinkable for me. If you get the ratio of powder to water correct it tastes like a Jolly Rancher so that's always a good thing. I've found that about 14 - 16oz of water does the trick.
Mixability: 10/10 - I love the way Intrabolic mixes. Just shake the crap out of a bottle for a few seconds and let it dissolve. Mixes better than anything I've ever used before.
Effectiveness: - Too soon to guage but I like what I'm feeling so far.
**DAY 2 - Monday**
Cardio and Abs:
Eliptical - 2 miles burned about 250 calories
Treadmill - jogged another 2 miles and burned about 300 calories
Crunches - 2 x 25
Reverse crunches - 2 x 25
Cybex Machine - Obliques - 2 x 25 w/ 30lbs resistance
I'm not a big cardio person but I'm trying to cut so I know it must be done. I took my Intrabolic and one serving IXL post workout but I am curious if I should be using it during cardio days? I did feel a difference when I was doing my cardio cause I typically can't stay on the eliptical or treadmill too long without getting burned out, so it did help me there.
**DAY 3 - Tuesday**
Biceps and Triceps:
Alt DB curls - 3 x 12 - 35's, 40's, 45's
Skullcrushers - 3 x 10 - 70, 70, 70
Barb Curls - 3 x 10 - 100, 90, 80
Cable Pushdowns - 3 x 10 - 80, 80, 80
One arm preachers - 3 x 10 - 30, 30, 30
Dips - 3 x 10 - Bodyweight w/ 25lbs added resistance
I love Bi and Tri Tuesday's I just had a very good day. I had awesome endurance, great pumps, and superb recovery with every single set. So far so good. I am going to try to get some pictures up as soon as possible.
**DAY 4 - Wednesday**
Cardio and Abs:
Eliptical - 2.5 miles burned about 470 calories
Basketball - played some bball for about an hour
Crunches - 3 x 25
Reverse crunches - 3 x 25
Hanging leg raise - 3 x 10
Cybex Obliques - 2 x 25 w/ 30lbs resistance
Had a pretty decent day here. My legs were still pretty sore from Monday's cardio but I stuck it out and got through the workout. I'm not really feeling the tingling from the BA and I wish I was cause I miss it. I always knew my IXL was working last time I used it cause I got pretty good tingles from it. Maybe I'm not experiencing it cause I've used it previously but I'm positive I'm getting the effects from it.

Nice log, I see you asked about taking IXC on cardio days. Yes you should continue to take IXC everyday.
The difference is
Training Days: Take IntrAbolic as directed and only ONE serving of IntraXCell post workout.
Non-Training Days: Only take IntraXCell as directed by the IntraXCell recommended use for non-training days.
IntrAbolic is NOT taken on non-training days. These two products were designed to work together perfectly.

My computer is poo
**DAY 5 - Thursday**
Shoulders and Legs:
Military press - 3 x 10 - 110, 120, 130
Seated DB press - 3 x 10 - 50, 55, 60
DB shrugs - 3 x 10 - 90, 90, 85
Wide grip chin ups - 3 x 10 - bodyweight - no additional weight
No leg workout today
My thoughts as of Day 5: I need a good leg workout!!!! I've never really been into working out my legs so I'm in need of putting together a leg workout. If anyone wants to give suggestions on what I should be doing for legs that would be fantastic. On the brighter side this was probably the best day as of yet. I normally have a bad lifting day when it comes to shoulders cause of an old baseball injury with my right shoulder. My energy level was way high today and I didn't hardly rest in between any of my sets. The taste of Intrabolic is starting to grow on me day by day as are the effects from this supplement.

Hey man, as far as leg workouts go...
Well there is a lot you can do
depending on if you want size or strength or conditioning or a combo of them
Something like
Bench step Ups
Squats
Leg Press
Leg ext Supersetted Leg Curls
Standing calf raise
You could try that or something similar

Like Showtime said, there's a ton of stuff you can do for legs. A good start would be a compound as always, so let's say squats. Then follow it up with another, lighter compound, with perhaps some sort of variation. So maybe stiff leg deads. Then you can do some isolation stuff like leg extensions and leg curls, and calves as you please (I tend to do sets throughout the whole workout).
So it would look something like this:
Squats 3-4 sets
SLDL 3-4 sets
Leg Ext. - 2-3 sets
Leg Curls - 2-3 Sets
It's a very basic few exercises, will hit both the quads/hammies, and also the glutes/calves. Experiment with the weight, don't let your ego get in the way of proper form, and work you're way from there.
Things are looking good in here though.

Thanks for the help. I'll experiment around with some of these and see what I like. I'm really not going for size in my legs. Pretty much just strenght and for them to look more full and tight.

my job sucks
I hate working 16 hour days. Sorry my log has been **** but the Air Force is ****ty and makes me work way more than I should. Anyways here's what I got for this week so far.
**DAY 8 - Sunday**
Chest and Back:
Bench - 4 x 10 - 135*, 185, 185, 205
Low row - 4 x 10 - 135*, 155, 155, 185
Incline Bench - 4 x 10 - 135*, 155, 155, 185
Cybex Incline pull - 4 x 10 - 135*, 170, 170, 190
Decline Bench - 4 x 10 - 135*, 155, 185, 205
BB rows - 4 x 10 - 135*, 155, 155, 185
My second chest and back workout on Intrabolic was quite a bit more pleasant than my first. As you can see I lifted a little heavier than before. I felt real strong and recovered much quicker. I think as I go on using Intrabolic my rest cycle between sets just continues to dwindle and that's completely fine by me
Intrabolic
Taste: 9/10 - The taste has grown a little more on me and I look forward to drinking it while I'm lifting. I can't wait to try citrus
Mixability: 10/10 - Still the same thoughts about this. So easy to mix your 90 year old grandma with Alzhymer's can do it.
Effectiveness: 8/10 - I can definately feel the effects as I start into week 2. I remember when I first used IXL it was about this stage that I started to see an increase and strength.
**DAY 9 - Monday**
Cardio and Abs:
Eliptical - 2 miles burned around 400 calories
Treadmill - ran another 2 miles and burned about 450 calories
Crunches - 3 x 25
Reverse crunches - 3 x 25
Cybex Machine - Obliques - 3 x 25 w/ 30lbs resistance
Energy was up and had a mighty fine day with the exception of some pretty sore back and chest muscles.
**DAY 10 - Tuesday**
Biceps and Triceps:
Alt DB curls - 4 x 8 - 40's, 45's, 50's, 55's
Skullcrushers - 4 x 10 - 70, 70, 80, 80
Barb Curls - 4 x 8 - 100, 90, 80, 70
Cable Pushdowns - 4 x 10 - 80, 80, 80, 90
One arm preachers - 4 x 8 - 45, 40, 35, 30
Dips - 4 x 10 - Bodyweight w/ 25lbs added resistance
I've said it once and i'll say it again. I love Tuesdays. This has to be my most high energy workout ever week and IA and IXL made it so much better today. I added extra sets and went up in weight in ever lift and my workout was EXPLOSIVE. my arms felt like they had gotten smashed and swelled up like balloons by the time I was finished. The best workout with the Intrastack yet.

poo
so i know my log has been **** so far and i appologize for that. my days have been so jam packed with **** that I barely get enough sleep anymore. I'll try better to get my log up daily
**DAY 11 - Wednesday**
Cardio and Abs:
Ran 3 miles at the track - Time was approx. 26 minutes
Crunch - 3 x 25
Reverse crunch - 3 x 25
Hanging leg raises - 3 x 25
So I'm not typically a good runner. Not cause I can't but running just isn't too interesting to me. I know I have to do it to cut though and I need to lose some bodyfat so I just trudge on. Anyways I was really satisfied with this time. I don't think it's excellent or anything but it seems to me like a fairly good time for someone who really never runs.
**DAY 12 - Thursday**
Shoulders and Legs:
Military press - 4 x 8 - 115, 135, 135, 155
Seated DB Shoulder Press - 4 x 10 - 40, 50, 60, 65
Wide grip chinups - 4 x 10
DB Shrugs - 4 x 10 - 90, 90, 100, 110
Reverse pek dek - 4 x 10 - 90, 90, 100, 110
Legs were sore as all hell from my 3 mile run that I couldn't even think about working them out. I wanted to try out Fatboysticks leg routine but I'll have to try it next Thursday. Anyways I did more shoulder exercises instead and had somewhat of a good lifting day. Got quite a bit fatigued and the end of my sets but then again I usually only do 3 exercises per muscle group so I expected to be tired towards the end. Doing good so far with this stack and I'm very pleased with the increase in edurance and strength that I have felt so far only half way through the stack. Good things to come I percieve.
**DAY 13 - Friday**
OFF
1 serving IXL in the morning and one late in the afternoon
**DAY 14 - Saturday**
OFF
1 serving IXL am and one shortly before dinner
**DAY 15 - Sunday**
Chest and Back:
Bench press - 4 x 10 - 135, 155, 185, 205
Incline DB press - 4 x 10 - 60, 60, 65, 65
Pek Dek - 4 x 10 - 90, 100, 115, 130
Low Row - 4 x 10 - 80, 120, 120, 140
Incline Pull - 4 x 10 - 130, 170, 190, 190
Bent over row - 4 x 10 - 95, 135, 155, 155
Great chest day. Got some rest and just had a all around good gym day. Didn't get burnt out at all and even one rep maxed out on bench after I was done working out. Got 275 up after a tiny struggle. Felt pretty good about it. Word.
**DAY 16 - Monday**
Cardio and Abs:
Ran another 3 miles in a slightly faster time than the last. Approx 24 minutes.
Hanging leg raises - 4 x 10
Crunch - 4 x 10
Oblique machine - 4 x 10 w/ 30 lbs resistance
Didn't do to well with abs. Too tired from running. Pretty much struggled through.

i think your run times are quite good,
3 miles in 24minutes is a good time, a very good time especially for someone who is "not" a runner.
Your in the air force?
Im in the Army Combat Engineer.
