So I tried something different today, where after I lifted, I went biking for a little more than 22 minutes. Will that have any sort of negative impact on muscle/strength building? My goal is to get lean wile keep(even gaining a little) muscle/strength. Any opinions?

cardio is good after lifting heavy in moderation, maybe 2 times a week while bulking. and more while cutting.
cardio clears out lactic acids and pumps blood through your muscles and causes something called capilarization to happen, which is your blood vessels spreading out and branching off all over your muscles.
your building bigger muscles better lay down the veins in them so they can get nutrients pumped through them more efficiently!

i do 20-22 minutes of running at about 7.5 to 8mph while trying to bulk up and i'm definitely not seeing the size nor weight gain that i want. Im pretty sure i'm overdoing it on the cardio as i do it 5 times a week. it just feels so damn good to run though!! i'm wondering if i should only run maybe 3 times per week to gain more muscle as i'm probably burning some muslce as well as fat during my post-lift cardio.

If you're doing cardio after your working out, I sure hope you are drinking your post workout shake before you do your cardio because if not you are definitely hindering your gains. Sooner you drink your post workout shake after you get done lifting the better.

BUMP, I'd like to hear some more opinions. I generally don't do much cardio....I do very light sessions 2-3 times per week usually after weight training or another time of the day. But I like to get a shake in me immediately, so what is your opinion on drinking a shake right after a workout then doing cardio?

Muscle develops faster if you do cardio after lifting IMO, worked wonders for me and thats why we run after we lift during football workouts

I do cardio after lifting, every day except for leg day (considering the fact that I can barely walk afterwards). I recommend keeping it light as mentioned, and if you're cutting like me, run in the morning on an empty stomach with moderate intensity for about 30 mins, and do a heavier session at night a few hours after you lift (15 - 25 mins ideally, depending on how intense). This has worked wonders for me, and it may work for some of you.

For me, I keep cardio and weight lifting as far away as possible....so basicially cardio is on my rest days.
