I need to take a day every week or two and seriously cut my food intake. It's usually every other Sunday. I don't really like eating, and I need this to keep from burning out on eating as much as I do. On these days I take in less than half as many calories as I do in a normal day. It isn't a true "fast." My question is what should I eat on these days? Should I eat my normal ratio of carbs, protein, and such, or should I focus on protein? Thanks.
You could go the classic route and do vegetable juices, preferably low sugar vegetable juices-kale, spinach, brocoli..etc.

I do a modified fat fast, 2 table spoons olive oil every 4 hours, on wednesdays and sundays, i lose around a lb of fat each time (its not water, i'm already fat adapted from keto)
