Putting on muscle never made much a difference for me because you would slowly accumulate fat also, cutting from 210 to 190 increased my attention from women 10 fold, I used to not even get a second glance now I will get approached. Most of the fat came from my stomach and face though which made me appear alot leaner is what I attribute it to.

It's crazy really.

I make it a point to hit the cafeteria in a cutoff right after I've worked out hahaha.

I think it's made me less approachable though. I get a ton of looks, and people tellin me "so and so thinks you're hot" but very few girls will approach me anymore.

This girl I dated over the summer told me that when she first met me she thought that I'd never talk to her.

And I get a lot of comments like, "wow, you're a lot nicer then I thought you'd be". I guess people just associate muscles with douchebags. Kinda bad. But that's just the initial impression.

Yes, but I think it's because losing fat/getting muscular gave me the balls to approach girls. I get lots of stares, and I seem to be getting more respect from guys, but just stares from girls. It's always rewarding to see them getting a peek, then I look at them and they look away lol.

I don't think I really get more attention from women, but I am certainly more confident about my appearance so working out has made me more successfull overall with women. I used to be intimidated by really attractive girls, but I now it really dosen't affect me at all. I feel like I belong in their company.

Well you don't have to be. The only ones i care about are the panel of judges. That would be a vein bud. I am not here to impress chicks at the local club.

Truth be told though, i am at the point now where chicks tend to stare. It's either a stare of "Wow thats a big dude" or "Wow he's hot"

Yes definitely. I used to be very light so the weight I have gained has helped me get women (as opposed to girls).

I will say though that for where I live, I'm usually wearing a coat and pants six months out of the year (October - April) so again, even if I make big gains in the gym, half of the time, women are not going to see it so it isn't a huge advantage or disadvantage.

Also I always wear a shirt out in public. Not having one on, unless you're at a beach or a swimming pool, pretty much means you're a tool.
