This is where all Football (soccer) fans can come in and celebrate, rant, talk about the days games.
I am rooting for my homeland Portugal to win it, but Germany, Italy and France will be forces to content with as well.
Come in and let us know who you are rooting for.

Not going to get into a whole convo on it, but did you happen to notice that in exactly 2 months after Euro, the Olympics were in Athens?
Coincidence? Most anyone in the know will bet that it was fixed to boost the country for the Olympics.
Yes I noticed it was 1-Nil but it should have been more by now.Blood......Sweat........RESPECT!!!!!

Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David’s hand. (1 Samuel 17:50)

Welcome to the thread. Good luck, every team has a chance this year. Going to be a GREAT tournament.
Yes, Yes it was a good start for them to gain some confidence going into their next game against Czech.
Poor qualifying always rattles me, but they seem to come on as the matches progress.
Pepe played very well today, but too many missed calls on both sides. It helped Portugal of course in the end, but I like it to be fair for both teams.
Ronaldo was simply amazing today, no goals, but his setup to Raul Medeiros was what we are expecting him to do this year. No more hiding in Figo's shadow, time for him to show the WORLD what he can do.Blood......Sweat........RESPECT!!!!!

Had to hit the gym after the games today and not too sure how things are in the US, but here in Canada, people have flags on their cars and horns honking. There is a party in the streets in Toronto after every win.
Every country in Canada has a little pocket in Toronto where they celebrate, it is actually pretty cool.Blood......Sweat........RESPECT!!!!!

Lol why is everyone so on Ronaldo's nuts, I hate it when a player does something decent and people hail him as a king just because of who he is.
He did not create Medeiro's goal, Moutinho did. What Moutinho did was pretty magic, the assist was his.
Ronaldo did have a good game today though, Deco had a poor one.
Thought Nani's leg was broken in the last minute! Watching the replay I thought I saw his bone pop out of his leg, but it was his shinpad movingAll I wanna see is progress,
