My coach tells me to drink 2 gallons of water a day - basically that sucks so I dont do that. I drink about a gallon of water a day and then whatever I feel like drinking from diet sodas.

I drink tons of water, but have no idea on the actual ounces.. Its over 1 gallon a day.. I drink over 1/2 of a gallon during a workout.
have to be careful with drinking too much water in a short period of time

I only drink water, all day every day. Have a 1 quart glass of ice water with me at the house all the time and go through 3 - 4 a night plus the 4-6 16oz bottles I drink a day at work (bring 1 and refill it all day).

I can only seem to get down about 3/4 gal per day. If I keep taking in water after 7:00 pm, I'll be waking up to pee all night ... like 3 to 4 times. It really disrupts a good nights sleep. So after 7:00, I just sip on my favorite Gatorade.

I drink water only, all day and evening. At least a gallon per day. I need it, as I sweat profusely . For instance, today; I ran 4 miles (same as yesterday), and I lost 3.5lbs of water weight from running, and can sometimes sweat as much as 5lbs of water out in one day. It's said that a pint of water= approx 1lb., so beside re-hydrating, it's easy for me to drink at least a gallon per day.

1-1.5 a day. It's funny, people at work always comment about my gallon jug. "You drink that much water?"

I don't drink much water relative to most here. Maybe 32 oz per day -- and even then it is usually mixed with crystal light. I tried the massive quantities of water thing awhile back, and all it did was send me to the bathroom far more often.

I take mine with a shot of lemon juice, when it's 90 and humid like today I probably put away a gallon.
