Is it as easy for you, as it is for me?
just an interesting question for you all out there...i was just wondering how easy it was for you all out there to put on muscle or lean out..or really how quickly it takes you to do so. with the pic i have attatched you can see an example of me leaning out..it took me id say maybe 7-8 days to do this, with the pic on the left taken the evening of the 8th day. did i cheat? of course i did! gotta have my ice cream ya' know...i just see a lot of people on here struggling to burn off fat, or put on size or what not. ever since i lost all my weight as a teen, ive always been able to put on size at a rapid pace, or likewise lean out if i felt like it. let me also say, for everybody who is against it, i eat tons of bread, drink a crapload of milk, and also eat 2-4 whole eggs every morning. for the pic on the right, i pretty much stuffed my face with junk for a week or so and just decided to record how fast i could lose the weight. i wouldnt say it was easy, because i train extremely hard. just wondering if any of you guys out there are the same way

That's pretty impressive...but what was your workout regimen like? I imagine most people aren't doing anything near what you have to do in Iraq.

well...i typically am in the gym everyday doing something...i dont like to spend more than an hour in the gym these days, maybe an extra 20 minutes or so at times but thats pushing it. i didnt do any cardio at all during that time frame either, basically just intense weight training. being in iraq sucks because i constantly have to work around the missions we are on. i always have a backpack with me with the nutrition to fuel me throughout the day...honestly, sometimes i dont know how the hell i keep up with it..lol..i just love bodybuilding i guess

i havent bulked up in years but when i did, i went from weighing 177 lbs. to weighing 198 lbs. in about a month and a half..i was 17 going on 18 at the time. mostly what i do now is maintain what i have and continue to add definition to my body. right now i am close to 185 but i want to actually bulk up again. i would like to be a solid 195 lbs and maintain that weight. maybe even 200 lbs would be cool. by Army standard im already considered severly obese but hmm...who cares?!

I hate to break it to you but mostly you lost was water, first three weeks of a dieting is when you see the most changes, then slows down...It's a shock for the body, the body will burn fat at a fatest pace in the first days and you will drop a ****load of water, thus looking you just did an amazing job but in fact it's nothing out of ordinary...
Always the first days i start dieting for some comp. i lose 10-15 pounds of water alone...

I'm with you on this one. I can shed weight like no other, putting on LBM takes crazy work though. Putting on any kind of mass period is tough. I have to chow down constantly when bulking.

lol i like how you make it out to be easy with these extreme workouts in only an hours time and whatnot and how you do no cardio but yet you forget that being in iraq is going to make you lean out tons faster than you could do if you weren't in iraq if i read this correctly. My cousin was over there when they captured and before the captured sadam and he gained and lost weight like nobodies business. So, when ya come back from iraq try to do it that fast by only going to the gym for an hour or 80 minutes at a time, it won't be that easy.
Yes, what you did was a good job but as someone else said by no means out of the ordinary. Especially doing missions and whatever other training you go through. That would be like me drinking 3 gallons of water, hypothetically speaking of course, and taking a pic and then not drinking water for 2-3 days and going into the sauna/steam rooms and working out like a madman and saying look at me! Still a good job but that doesn't mean it's that easy all the time because I'm sure your activity levels are incredibly high (which is a great thing).

haha...yea right! ok..missions last maybe hmmm...an hour or so...believe me, ive done more strenuous work when i wasnt in the Army, and still would pack on size just as fast. and never did i say it was out of the ordinary, just was asking how fast was it for everybody else. its always been easy for me, even as a teen. what makes it tougher though over here though is that i dont have all the different food options i would have back in the states, but i still manage. the majority of the guys out here thought it was impossible out here, but hey, i easily proved them all wrong

Well I think a lot of people have some muscles, some more than others, but they are under a layer of fat which usually settles on their stomach and hides those muscles. Ive lost weight very quickly in a month and half or so 143-126, thats almost 20 pounds. The first fat to come on is the last to go off, right?
You just have muscles and no fat which is great, good job, I want my stomach to look like that, But in a feminine way, the last 5 - 10 pounds seem to be the hardest for me. Great job though!
