Started at 235. Originally I lost about 40lb on a very low calorie diet from September 13, 2010 to October 25, 2010. I started working out at around 190 and 20.5% body fat in December.
In December and January I was focus on a slow increase in calories, while lifting and cardio, to increase metabolism.
I have been recomping since. In the begining I was going for strength and muscle. For the last 6 week I have been at a 300-600 a day deficit and lost 10 pounds. I estimate a lose or conversion of about 20lbs of fat since December.
The hardest part was staying devoted to doing it the right way. I had to track my intake and weight while slowly increasing. I gained muscle while doing it, and increased metabolism so that my cut would be effective. I have been doing IF for about four weeks, but had already started loosing before the switch. IF fits my natural eating habits and I like the empty feeling in the morning and while lifting.

It's the post of ordinary people that motivates me. However until I see my flat stomach, I'm not convinced that I can do it but looking at these pics, it helps me go the extra mile.

Wow. Amazing transformations. Truly inspirational and motivational. I've been trying to lose weight since last summer. Worked out consistently with a good diet from May to August and lost 30 pounds (315 to a consistent 285-290) while doing minimal cardio. Once school and work started again I began to get very lazy. Working out for a few weeks then stopping for a month or two and repeating this process. I started playing soccer again (indoor soccer) and I'm a shell of my former self. I ultimately want to start playing normal 11 vs 11 games again. I finally found the motivation I needed to get back in shape and lose this disgusting fat. My love for the sport . My goal is to be at 205 by next June. I can't wait to be able to post in this FAT to FIT thread.

184-225-188
So, i joined this website a while ago, but i never really followed up with it. I was in pretty good shape about 2-3 years ago and then i started college and got into a serious relationship and put on 40 lbs or so :-O! we broke up last august and i was at 225! Starting in January i started to get back into exercising and weight lifting and Ive lost 40 lbs since then! I figured id post some pictures of my 6 month transformation. I'm sorry i don't a have better picture of me at higher weight, i was pretty camera shy haha.
First one is at 184, in like 2009
second is like 225 or so in nov of 2010
Third one is like 215-220 in December or January
Fourth one is at 188 this june! =]
Oh, and since losing the 40lbs i can now dunk on regulation sized basketball goals, the links below in my signature have videos of em if you would like to see =]! Thanks and continue the motivation!Me dunking at my local university's basketball court after losing 40 lbs :-O!
