I think I replied in this thread in 07. Had a lot of progress since.
Before: 06-07 - 360lbs
After: March 2008 - 284lbs
3 years in the making. Went from 360lbs to 284 and still losing. Still gotta get rid of my tits and gut, but they're getting there. Ultimate goal is to reach 240 by summer of 2010.

I posted pics here once before, but not showing my overall transformation. I went from 305 lbs to 180, and now I'm at a little less than 220. The first two pics are a few months into my weight loss, so I might have been around 280. I'm probably somewhere between 180 and 190 in the pics from July.
Obviously I still have a lot of loose skin, and I had more definition in July especially in my back (and better lighting) but I'm just focusing on increasing my fitness with aerobic exercise while making progress on my lifting and not cutting but still eating clean.

Pretty much any form of workout program, if you actually do it, is going to burn calories and improve strength, etc. P90X is just an overpriced, overhyped method of doing so, but I'm sure in the end it will work to some degree if you stick to it.
I think, with some people, it's just the matter of structure that is involved in following a "program" such as P90X that helps to keep them motivated. I say, if it works for you, go for it. I just think there are much less expensive options out there.
