If im coughing up green stuff, is it beneficial to take penicillin?

i was had rowdy fever, chills on tuesday night, and a little fever yesterday. not so much today though. been taking tylenol and ty PM at night

Always the best idea, but not always possible or practical.
Assuming that you've taken Penicillin before and have no known allergy, you should be fine with it and it should help.

word well any advice is better than none,
i was wondering if since i had fever and coughing mucos would that mean i had a bacterial infection? cuz if not than the penicillin would harm my body right?

Yes, generally fever and green or yellow mucus would indicate a bacterial infection. If you don't have a bacterial infection, the PCN won't hurt you.
I'm not a Dr, but am a paramedic and taught pharmacology for 5 years at the college level.

You'll need amoxicillin, in the form of Augmentin. This antibiotic is the most effective for sinus and respiratory infections.
