Lightbulb Broccolli!?!!?

This could be a stupid question or a logical one?? I have no idea.

I measure my broccolli before eatting and eat about 3.5oz raw in one serving ........ 3 Times a day, Now that looks like a huge portion to me but fits into my macro nutrients and calorie deficit. Am i eatting too much broccolli daily (Or better yet will this high volume of not so dense food make me gain weight?:S)

Almost 10oz :P Too much?

You're cutting? Broccoli is your best friend. Besides ECA of course LOL

I currently eat minimum 1/2 lb a day. Aren't there even jokes about bodybuilders living on broccoli, chicken, and oatmeal? ;P

I usually eat probably 2-3lb of various fibrous veg/day when cutting. It's a few hundred kcal, so i do 'count' it, but I just estimate the amount visually, or log a daily total of 80-100g of carbs depending on my veg portion sizes for that day.

I wouldn't bother weighing out 3oz of broccoli, or any other fibrous veg. If you feel you must count it, eyeball it and guesstimate.

Isn't broccoli one of the foods that can inhibit your thyroid gland? Maybe it only has an affect on people who have thyroid problems. But I would think eating a lot of raw broccoli could have an affect on even healthy people. This decease in the effectiveness of your thyroid gland would give you a sense of feeling tired and drained throughout the day....

Thoughts? Anyone experience this?
