i've been trying to get my gf to get into drinking some protein shakes to increase her muscle mass because she wants help burning fat/losing weight.
unfortunately, she's allergic to whey and soy (legumes such as beans, peas, etc.) protein. it's nearly impossible to find reasonably priced egg or milk-based protein (even on this site). does anyone have any suggestions regarding supplementation for folks with these kinds of allergies? thanks!

Whey is from milk. If she's allergic to whey are you sure she's not also allergic to casein?
Besides egg, you could look in to beef, or rice protein. Here are some links:

Look into beef protein. Lactose, gluten, and allergen free. Seems to be much easier on the digestive system for me as well. Look into muscletech's platinum beef, MHP's isobeef prime, and AST Sports Science Raptor. They all taste pretty good as well.
