Come back on hold

I have been working out just to keep in shape about an hour 3 times a week at LA fitness the YMCA and my basement since 1978--in addition to jogging 3 days and bike riding one

Getting enthused by being on this site I thought I would try and go hard and maybe muscle memory from back in the dark ages would kick in

I was making progress as my weights and reps etc etc have been increasing for over a month

Over a year ago I thought I could feel two lymphs nodes in my groin area which I figured was from being low in body fat ( similar to how you can feel them in your neck etc )

WRONG -- though they never bothered me I noticed they seemed a little larger--after some investigation I think I have a double hernia --just what I need --I see my PCP tomorrow at 1 pm

Compounding the problem is the fact my wife goes in for hip replacement on Tuesday so she will be down for 2 to 6 weeks (new procedure is much less traumatic and she works out like me so I am hoping it is the low end )

So nothing can be done about my problem until she is fully recovered

Riding high a week ago and back down to earth this week

Ya never know

BTW Soon as I post this we are off for her pre-op interview with the surgeon
