Kool Aid Post-workout....great stuff!
hey everybody...im not sure if anybody has tried this combo before but i got the recipe from this past months Muscle and Fitness magazine and finally checked it out...it calls for: 2 cups water, 2 scoops vanilla whey protein powder, 3 tbsp. cherry flavored kool-aid mix(NOT sugar-free), plus your creatine or whatever else you add in there as usual. throw all into your shaker cup and and youre good to go...i recommend this for everybody. its actually a lot better than i thought it would be..definately a different taste. this is what you'll be getting out of it: 350 calories, 40 g protein, 48 g carbs, 0 g fat. just thought id share this with you all....

i would say it would be good for either...kool-aid is just another form of fast-absorbing carbs to be taken post w/o...i use to drink gatorade, or eat a bagel with honey..the kool-aid was a welcome change

I've been doing this for a few months now since i read it in M&F too. I use chocolate whey and it still tastes great. Add a banana to the mix and it's even better!
