how bad am I? Started cutting today

I'm 5'7 at 167 pounds... My goal is to get leaner and lose the excess body fat so I can look nice for next summer

you will sort yourself out NO problems for next summer! damn i think you could get in decent shape for the end of this summer!

i would focus on just clean bulking though if i was you... get some mass on you so you have something to show when you cut!

Well I really want to get my body fat down to 10% or so, I used these electronic BF calculator things and it said 20% (i know they are not accurate, but they are close enough)...

I dont want to gain extra weight because I feel fat and I dont go out in t-shirts (because of my chest)... but ill see what others say...

Anyways, thanks for the comment! makes me feel really good!

you are no fatter than how i started out. i just trained hard at first for the first 2-3 months eating clean, but still at a level which allowed me to grow. however, the excercise and clean eating meant i lost fat. i then started bulking to gain more size.

this is how i started...

Hope this gives you some idea of what sort of changes to expect as you are definately no worse, probabally better, than where i started. like i say if you just eat clean you should lose fat pretty quickly and should also be able to build a bit of muscle.

Yeah, so far ive havent been eating that cleanly, barely any protein, etc...
Now im eating all the necessary stuff so we'll see how everything goes
