Possible Anterior Delt problem

Hi out there!!!

The last gym session was an chest/back day. Involving bench press, DB flyes, DB pull overs, seated Cable row, Bent over BB rows and Back shrugs.

The weights where moderate and the sets and rep range where also nothing unusual. The day after there was plenty of deep muscle soreness particularly in the pecs and triceps. No problem.

I also play Football, and gearing up for the season there is plenty of contact right now.

So heres my issue. After heavy contact days and upper body workouts there is a noticeable pain high in the region of the Anterior Deltoid. I tend to sleep with my arm over my head and the pain can wake me up. When I lift the arm into a better position it feels resistive and can make one hell of a bang.

Today thoughout the day there has been general discomfort in the normal ROM even when picking up a cup.

Any advice?

Thanks in advance peeps
