Well, which one is it? If you want to burn fat quickest, then full body splits are more effective than isolation splits. For strength, well there are a couple that are arguably as effective.
You have to pick a goal first!

It's hard to be on a fat burning program and build strength at the same time whilst it possible it's hard.
For me personally I burnt the most fat on a high rep full body workout.
After that I immediately went on a 10 x 10 and that's where i gain a lot of strength

That's the way I did it, naturally everyone is different. Give it a go and see how you do.

Doesn't it take a long time to work your whole body? I don't think I could do two or three exercises for chest, back, arms, shoulders, abs, gluts, quads, hamstrings and calves all on the same day. are there people who are able to do that every other day?

If you keep your rest periods short which what I do you can get a full body workout finished in about an hour or so.
I kept abs and calves to my cardio days which helps.
No a fullbody workout is exactly that, you work the whole body in one session otherwise it's a split routine which is also fine but I am just saying from personal experience I lost the most fat on a fullbody workout 4 times a week.

I used to do each body part on it's own day, supersetting bi's and tri's...but what really made a huge difference?
My split-
Pull muscles (upper body-back & bi's)
Push muscles (upper body- chest, shoulders, and tri's)
Lower Body
Rest
Abs/Cardio
I also do a little upper back on Lower Body day, but not to failure- I am careful not to exhaust the muscle, it's more just for the stimulus. I do clean and presses on ab/cardio day which has dramatically increased my shoulder strength, along with some push ups. Again, not to failure...I do very low volume, just enough to stimulate and that's all. Abs are done every day except for rest day. On cardio day, I do a 2 mile run, then do sprints or stadium step running, or burpees or squat jumps.
If I feel I need an extra day off, I'll take it. No sense in overtraining!
That's what I do and it has dramatically changed my physique. But I think different splits will work for different people- not every one is the same. Unfortunately, there is no one "perfect" split for everyone. You gotta experiment to find what works for you
