Lower Belly Bloat
Hey all-
I am having some trouble with lower belly bloat... It is not anywhere near TOM and I havent really changed anything about my diet... any feedback on how to lose it! Could it be dairy?
All help is appreciated!

I hear ya...
Though I have not been able to isloate the cause when it happens I am pretty sure it is carb related water retention.
Dairy products cause bloating in many people it is the lactose in milk...

Could be the dairy, could be carbs too. When I have those kind of days I up my water intake even more to help flush my system.

Hidden dairy got me. You know those addendums to nutritional labels that say manufactured on equipment used for milk and nuts.
Another thing, my upper waist, the smaller part, leans out faster than the lower abdomen. That also makes the lower ab seem like it's gotten worse.

Dairy could be the answer, I know when I cut it out completely my stomach bloat came down literally over night.

Any food sensitivites could cause bloating. Dairy and gluten are prime offenders, but you may have issues with other foods. BBing supplements can also cause bloating and gas. Carbs - especially simple carbs and sugary stuff - can cause bloating, particularly if your gut ecology is off.

Lower Belly
Hello all, I am new to this site.
I hoping I could get some help with my lower abs. No matter how much I exercise I can?t get rid of the little pouch I have. I hardly eat dairy products and I drink a lot of water. Can some one give me some pointers?

Ok, here's a new one for me. And it took 3 freaking months to figure it out. Scallops! I was buying them from the scallop boat so I know they were fresh and unadultered, but I was eating them several times a week with the fresh tuna I was also buying. They never bothered me before but I never ate them several times a week. They were not only causing bloating but tummy aches days after eating them.
But that's the way these things go. Delayed reactions are not uncommon. Makes it tough to debug.
I'll still eat them, once a month

If it's just fat, all you can do is reduce your body fat. And it may come off that area last.

I can relate. I've cut out all dairy and gluten. My bloat is caused by constipation mostly. I plan to try probiotics soon.

Yup!!! Constipation is the biggest cause IMO. Second to that would be dairy, and too many carbs (which make you retain water in that area). I'm in the same boat. One day, my abs are almost washboard, the next day, that ugly pooch pops out! I friggin HATE IT!
I'm thinking the only thing that can rid any of us of that "post baby" pooch, is building those lower ab muscles. That's what I'll be trying next! Good luck!

I wonder if digestive enzymes would help this?
