Targeted fat reduction,.
AKA spot reduction.
I feel as though i need to make a thread like this to clear things up, and help a few people out. (i made a thread in a tired rage, and feel like i need to redeem myself)
Allow me to begin by saying this.
The only way to lose fat is through diet and exercise (plus supplements) and you will lose fat from all areas of your body at once.
Does that last part sound like B.S.?
The reason it is harder to get cut up in certain places is because of your genetic predisposition to dump fat there. The best example of this i can conjure up is the RELACORE commercials. They call belly fat "stubborn" and hard to lose.
You will lose belly fat just like any other fat on your body, but because of where your belly is, it is a convenient place for your body to dump fat.
Its not HARD to lose, there is just simply more of it there. If it were to be placed elsewhere, it would get in the way.
It is the same reason some girls have bigger tits than others, which is a genetic predisposition to place and remove fat in certain areas.

Or could it be that there is not a whole lot of fat there to start with?
When you lose weight, Everything in your body gives up its stores of fat, but since the chest and gut hold a hell of a lot more than the extremities, you will notice the extremities before you notice the midsection.Current lifts

Hormones can play a role. I should have said that.
I am speaking based on how people expect the answer to lie in exercise, though.
In order to use the biofeedback method, you have to make a massive dietary change... which could lead to different hormone levels further tweaking other body parts.Current lifts
