really odd and possibly vain question...
okay, so i have been noticing something in the past month but thought i was just going crazy, until my mom had mentioned something to me this morning.
The weekend is my "cheat" days where i take a break from the diet and work out scheme and it seems when sunday rolls around my face seems quite bloated almost? and its just my face, not my stomach or anything.
Its not like im binging or any of that stuff which i would feel would solve this odd problem? to be honest i really wouldn't even call my weekends cheat days, i allow myself to eat granola cereal!
I was thinking maybe it was the milk? I know my diet really lacks in dairy, i don't drink milk, eat yogurt, cheese etc throughout the week so maybe its an overload on vitamin D or something that causes this?
i have no idea, im probably just making up b/s! haha
Any thoughts? what the hell is going on?!!!?

It sounds like a reaction to the milk. You aren't going to overload on vitamin D in one day by eating food. A lot of times we don't realize our bodies have issues with certain foods until we stay away from them for awhile then introduce them back. It could also be something in the granola. Next weekend, just eat one without the other. The following week do the opposite. See which one is the culprit.

Do you eat low carb all week? An increase in carbs could cause the bloat as well as maybe taking in more sodium than usual too if you cut back on that during the week...

hmmm all very helpful responses!!! thank you!!!
Yah i am thinking its probably the milk?! I am on a low carb diet and don't take any type of vitamin D supplement.... so i am sure that the milk is the cuprit!!!
Should i start taking a vitamin D supplement and that will perhaps decrease the face bloating? im not too keen on introducing dairy into my diet!

If it is the milk, only eliminating it will help. Vitamin D plays no role in your facial swelling. You do want to supplement Vitamin D. Even if you didn't give up dairy and other fortified foods.
