Flirting between *Extreme* or Necessary??

GOAL: Have Abs while relaxxed sub 8percent BF

Alright so heres how it is, i just turned 16 im 5'8 165lbs (Lost 20lbs since football season from undereatting) I have always been involved with the gym because i have great natural strength ie. i could bench 300lbsmax at 15 and 22+ 185 bench. I have become obsessed with getting abs though alike alot of others. I am currently following a carb cycle of 50-120-175 and eatting 1600-1700cals daily ...... I do high intensity inc. walk 5 days a week, and lift 5 days , 2 days HIIT. I want to achieve that *Lean muscle super vascular look* is my carb cycle necessary with the 3days 50g carbs a week for my age and goals??

Any advice appriciated

None of us can tell you if it's actually "necessary", as everyone is different. Sounds to me like you've got a great plan and that you know what you're doing. Just don't overdo the cardio in a race for summer, or you'll lose some hard earned LBM. Good luck!

Also eatting 100% clean foods in general should show some benefit no matter what am i right?
