im 15(16 on wensday), currently taking creatine monohydrate not so long ago, we went to a farmisist(sp?) to check it out see if its safe for me to take, aparently it is which i was happy about. the other different creatines might be more dangerous at 16. for the brand to take, their all basicly the same thing from my understanding, just some are advertised more and better selling company names.

Most people will say medical people are biased. Medical doctors and pharmacists generally dont know enough about nutrition to give you a correct idea of what will happen.

Monohydrate is older "technology" You have to load it and take so much per day. Ethyl esther or maleate you dont have to load and it absorbs better than mono

you don't have to load any type of creatine. Loading is a total waste.
don't get cell tech, you could start with bulk creatine mono, or green mag, storm...theres alot of them.

You have to load monohydrate because it doesnt absorb as well as esther or maleate

Esther is an alcohol so it absorbs in the stomach

People say that once you get off creatine you lose all that you gained. They say that because they don't have a clue of what is happening. When you start taking creatine you begin to hold onto more water in your body... so you gain quite a bit of water weight... once you stop taking it, you lose that water weight NOT the muscle you gained since you started taking creatine.

Cell tech is a waste of money, there is a reason everyone jokes about it. Buy the cheapest creatine you can, you don't nedd anything expensive.

Also... don't expect wonders from creatine. It won't make you gain muscle, and it won't make you hyooge, it will increase strength but not to a huge degree. Gains are based on your diet, training, and sleep... creatine just increases the efficiency of which your body can use those 3 things in order to build muscle.

Oh and you don't have to load ANY type of creatine... that includes monohydrate.

no you really don't have to load it. you body can only absorb and use so much, anything over 5-10g a day is a waste.
Loading at 20+g a day is a pointless thing to do, just puts more stress on your body to filter and excrete the unused stuff.

just take you creatine with some juice (preferably not orange juice) and then drink another 8oz of juice 15-30mins after you take it and you should absorb a good amount of the creatine.

I wouldn't recommend cell tech. Way overpriced and 75 grams of sugar.

Did you miss my previous post completely or what?

Cell tech is advertised liek crazy and pushed at GNC and other supp stores because its expensive... if you know nothing about creatine except cell tech because you see it in your magazines all the time, well then you are clearly more likely to buy cell tech.

Like I said before, (please go back andread my post) , creatine will not MAKE you gain mass.

loading is supposed to help get your muscles fully saturated with creatine faster and i think its also supposed to put a higher concentration of creatine into the muscles. but it doesn't help.
the way you do it is you take 20-25g of creatine for the first 5-7 days...
but its worthless, I'm going to tell you that you won't notice a difference between the recommended dose of 5g a day and 20+g (except you'll have to drink alot more water if you take 20g). You won't get any faster gains or anything like that if you load.
its a total waste
don't do it
stick with 5g a day
