Just wanted to share this all with you before I head off to tackle the mountain of crap in my room at school...it's all dusty and the air is dry and it's 85 degrees already...ick..anyway..
I woke up today feeling different about all of this somehow..like a fire was lit under me..lame I know
I just feel like I CAN do this and I'm NOT going to sabatoge myself anymore. I'm going to give it 110% so I don't get to October and think "what if??" you know?
I gave it my all during my workout today..I never stopped and people kept asking me why I was working so hard..lol..ummm..b/c I have a goal???? 1:20 min and 567 calories burnt..woohoo! That's huge for me!
I think I've been a little afraid of fully giving in and doing everything no holds barred, 100%..kind of like the people that think the worst is going to happen just so they're not disappointed you know?
That kind of thinking is GONE though....17 weeks as of tomorrow and there is no room for redi wip and cookie dough...my competition sure as hell isn't eating that!!! I will be lean and buff and hot and I will walk on that stage w/ confidence! My dad said this morning, "but you're looking great for a normal person"...well that's not enough! I don't want to be "ok"...I want to be the best me that I can be!
Ok....lame rant over...I am off to school now!!! Have to pack tonight! Can't wait Adrienne!!!!!"Faith is to believe what you do not yet see; the reward for this faith is to see what you believe. ": Saint Augustine

You have 17 weeks to get the job done. It's a hell of journey and if it were easy...everyone would be doing it! It's not always about the competition on stage, but more a competition with yourself. You need to stay focused and have the drive and determination to get the job done. Prep is hard no doubt and life gets in the way constantly. If you stay strong, you'll be able to plow though and they'll be no stopping you

STANDING CALF RAISE: 75#...tons of reps..burn!!!
DB LAT RAISES: 12#
REAR DELT MACHINE: 52.5#
CANDLESTICK RAISES: 10#
DIAGONAL LAT FRONT RAISE: 10#
UR ROWS: st. bar + 20#
1/4 LAT RAISES: 20#
TIME: 1:20
HR: 135 average
CALS: 567
SLEEP: 6 hrs

ACTIVITY: above +intense cleaning..maybe a short dog walk, but I'm beat!!!
NUTRITION:
4:30: shake: whey, blueberies, almond butter, spinach
8: muffin: egg whites, whey, ground almonds, broccoli
12: tuna, spinach, evoo, salsa
5: shake: whey, blueberries, almond butter, spinach
9: another shake: whey/almond butter/greek yogurt/broccoli...I'm getting lazy!! Too many shakes!
Maybe something else...that's only around 1650 calories and I've been HUNGRY today!!! Ended up with:
1850 cals...76 fat...91 carbs...223 protein...macros including the almond butter creation!
*edit* did add a piece of this awesome almond butter protein sort of brownie thing that I created:
8oz almond butter
1 egg
2 tsp liquid cinnamon stevia
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp baking powder
3 scoops whey
I mixed up the almond butter and egg w/ a hand mixer then added the dry and blended
Baked in an 8x8 pan at 325 for 35 min
cut into 10 squares..each is 175 cals, 12 g. fat, 12 g. protein and 5 g. carbs
OTHER STUFF: Exhausting day!! It was hot and sticky and I had TONS of cleaning and organization to do! I am done though!!! Woo hoo!!!! We had our last luncheon of the year today...so many goodies! They cooked hotdogs and burgers, had taco dip and chips, deviled eggs, baked beans, veggie pizza, pasta salad, cookies, brownies, cake....I had my tuna and salad and did not even want any of the other stuff!
I decided to rent a car to drive out to Adrienne's tomorrow. I don't trust mine and it's only 50 dollars for the whole weekend w/ unlimited miles. Not bad!!!! I need to pack! I'm so excited to see her! We're going into NYC...I've never been there!
Anyway, off to pack! I need to take my dad his protein bars and I need to pick up some chicken and tuna and nuts to take for the weekend. I don't want to eat all of Age's food!!! I should probably leave something for Drew too...right now, our fridge consists of almond butter, flax seed and an avocado..lol
