Ok folks...are you coming along for the ride??? I've got 15 weeks until my first contest on September 13th. I am doing the West Virginia MidAtlantic Grand Prix in Wheeling. I decided to use a new journal for this time and I'll go back to my old one after my contests.
I'm working with Jaim right now and I'm starting the Cut Diet as of today..my training will begin on Monday.
I'm excited and ready to go!!!!

New journal for a new journey....I just wanted to say good luck....the most important thing you should do though, is listen to your "inner voice" to make sure you get through this "right", it's going to be tough as hell in parts and it can control you...remember you are in control of this and that this contest prep is just a *part* of yourself...you have many different other aspects to your life that is just as important such as family, friends, work, etc...oh.........also HAVE FUN!!!

I DID have a wedgie!!! lol
CUT DIET DAY 1
I had a good day today. I went w/ my friend to see Sex and the City. I thought it was really good..I won't give away what happens though!
Drew and I went downtown this evening. They were having something called Zingfest..lol...the symphony was there playing, so we listened for awhile and people watched..some interesting characters!!! There were fair fries and icecream everywhere, but I had eaten my chicken and green beans before we left..
I think I might retake pics and take those down...the wedgie and the face and the hair is REALLY bad!!!!!
Everyone keeps saying how they're stuffed on the Cut Diet...well not me! I was starving every 2 hrs today!! I don't know if I'll be able to workout at 5:30AM next week...if my first meal is at 4, I'm gonna be starving!!!
Tomorrow is church and relaxing...we might go see that new Strangers movie..
SLEEP: 6.5 hrs
WATER: 4.5 L
ACTIVITY: light walking...about 20 or 30 min.
NUTRITION:
1: whey, almond butter, spinach
2: tuna, almond butter, onions, romaine
3: chicken, almond butter, asparagus
4: egg whites, whey, almond butter, broccoli
5: chicken, evoo, romaine,green beans
6: whey, almond butter
ummmm...I like almond butter..lol"Faith is to believe what you do not yet see; the reward for this faith is to see what you believe. ": Saint Augustine
"So what exactly would you say you DO here??"
"Does this suit make me look fat??"
"No, your face does."

Yay Tara!! That's so cool you started a new journal, and I'm so excited to be following along on your journey It's fun to see others doing the cut diet as well!
For in between meals when I'm kinda hungry, I just sip on some Xtend and it helps tide me over until my next meal. You shouldn't be TOO hungry though - have you talked to Jaim? Maybe you should start out at higher cals? How do you like it otherwise?*Be miserable. Or motivate yourself. Whatever has to be done, it's always your choice.*

Hey Tara ... I was so excited to see your new journal!! I almost fell off my chair this morning b/c I am so used to seeing the old one! lol
This is going to be an amazing journey of self discovery, patience and strength. I think Sherri said some wonderful words of advice ... remember it is just a competition ... have TONS OF FUN ... but don't let it control you You will come out a stronger person at the end despite the resultsAnything worth doing, is worth doing well!

Umm...thanks?
Remember, you've been on the same amount of calories since early in the year. Your body needs to get used to less volume of food in the stomach, not as many veggies. If you want, toss in 2 tbsp of psyllium husk with your egg whites and make a little pancake. It'll create bulk in the stomach, and giev you a hella awesome snack!
We talked. We discussed. And if the problem persists, we'll revise I got her back, lol!
Umm...Jaim isn't forcing you to do anything...(but she's gonna keep texting you til you get a restraining order )Contest Prep Log: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=146273283&p=911273403&posted=1#post911273403

Yay for a new journal!!
I didn't really get into Sex in the City when it was popular, I watch reruns every once and a while now, but I do think the movie would be fun to watch!
Sorry about being hungry It is hard to adjust to less food in the stomach...drink lots of water!!

CUT DIET DAY 2
Confession: I'm addicted to Murder She Wrote....lol..I've rediscovered it. I used to watch it with my aunt every week. It was our little tradition..ice cream and Murder She Wrote..no wonder I was fat...every childhood memory and tradition involved food! lol
Pretty relaxing day today. I went to church by myself this morning b/c Drew slept in..
I did some weeding..always fun...leaned the kitchen, did laundry, laid outside, took a nap...full day!lol
I went and rented an XBox 360. I told my kids that the last day of music we would play Guitar Hero. It should be fun! I'm terrible at it though!
I got my workout program from Jaim and it looks absolutely insane!!!! lol...I can't wait for tomorrow's leg workout!
I have to admit, I didn't follow my diet exactly today. I kind of think of tomorrow as the "official" day..lol
SLEEP: 7.5 hrs
WATER: 3 L
ACTIVITY: light walking...about 20 or 30 min.
NUTRITION:
1: whey, almond butter, spinach, blueberries
2: tuna, avocado, PB, onions, romaine, salsa
3: whey, flaxseeds, asparagus, blueberries
4: chicken, lettuce, peppers, evoo
5: whey, PB
I had a few cookie dough tastes.. making them for the staff picnic at school..no more starting tomorrow though! Everyone always wants me to bake something!!! It has GOT to stop...I have got to get my diet under control!!!

Ok....you are officially crazy!!! That workout for tomorrow is insane and wonderful!!!
I PM'd you a few questions though!
I cheated a bit today Hardcore, badass, balls to the wall starting tomorrow though!
Hi Vanessa!
Thanks...agree w/ the wedgie too??????
Yay! Another follower!!!!
Thanks Barb!!
Yeah...weird thing is, it's not less calories, just different macros..I usually fill up on tons of veggies and eat less protein and fat...we'll see..I'll just have to adjust!"Faith is to believe what you do not yet see; the reward for this faith is to see what you believe. ": Saint Augustine
