Patrial Deadlifts???

I have had several bad knee injuries and I cant perform deadlifts with a large amount of weight. Does anyone know if partial deadlifts are worth doing?

Thanks

If by partial deadlifts, you mean rack pulls? You'll be pulling with more weight doing a partial movement compared to the full range movement.

Not saying rack pulls are bad, they're actually really good.

Sometimes I end up doing back the day after leg day. Therefore I don't do deadlifts.

But I do rack pulls (partial deads) instead. Takes the legs out of the movement, almost completely..

if reducing ROM will help you be able to do them then yes they certainly are.

I already hit legs twice a week as mine are lagging. (one quad dominant workout and one ham/glute dominant). Because of this, I don't like to do deadlifts off of the floor on back day so I do them on the rack. This works out great for me as it takes my legs out of the movement and gives my back a great workout which is ideal.
