Minor Pain: Inner Knee
About a week ago, for some odd reason I started getting this pain on my inner knee. It doesn't hurt when I walk, but when ever I try to sprint, make quick cuts, or drag my leg side ways (I know weird lol) on my bed I feel this pain.
Now I play baseball, and my season starts again in about a month. My strengths are quickness and speed. Any idea what this type of injury might be and how long to recover? It's not bad yet, but I'm resting it somewhat right now so I don't further the injury.

Might be a sprain/strain or even a partial ripped/teared.
Of ligament injuries (ACL, MCL, PCL, Cruciate), Meniscus injuries, or something else..
You'll never know untill you go check it out..
I sprain a ligament and teared a meniscus, but was still able to do track and feild.
With pains exactly like yours. When to go check it out, got a MRI, turn out I sprain a ligament and teared a meniscus.. had surgery.. and yea..
goodluck..

Wow, you got me worried here. I hope I don't have any of the above. I'll go check it out. Thanks for the reply.

Inner knee sounds like the MCL. MCL sprains and tears are usually caused by blows to the outside of the knee causing it to go inward in an irregular way, and thus injuring the inner part of the knee, the MCL. I injured my MCL recently wrestling. I took an MRI today and should be going back to the doctor after another week's rest to review the MRI with him.
I recommend the R.I.C.E. method. R-Rest, I-Ice, C-Compress, Elevate. (google for further info)

Ok thanks.
This is just wierd cause it came out of no where. I woke up one morning and felt this discomfort. I don't remember ever getting hit in the knee or anything.

Could it be Patella Dysfunction?
This is what I've been diagnosed with and I also get many of the symptoms you describe.. particularly the 'dragging leg sideways in bed' pain.
