Officially hit a plateau
I have officially hit a plateau.
A couple of months back, I hit about 184 and decided that I was not going to gain an extra pound. After some hard work (with the help of a couple of friends by the name of E and C), I managed to get down to 173. I've also put on some muscle and my weights in the gym have gone up.
Unfortunately, the the past couple of weeks, I've been hovering between 172 and 174. It seems like any time I have a cheat meal or cheat day, it doesn't affect my weight at all (I guess my metabolism is working well these days). But on that note, even after eating 100% clean for a week, my weight is going no where.
So my question is what do I do now? I will concede that I don't do much cardio, but I've been 160ish before without doing ANY cardio so I know that can't be the reason (and I know for sure that I don't have 12 pounds of lean muscle on me right now compared to when I was 160... 5-8 maybe, but not 12).
Should I try carb loading? Should I consume more fat (I don't think I'm eating much fat in my diet.. it's mostly protein and carbs)).
This weight loss has been such a rollercoaster and I feel like I've got everything down but these last few pounds refuse to budge. I'd like to step on the scale and see 16(x) again...
Cheers.
(and for the past couple of weeks, I've been taking EC very sparingly.. I went from taking it 3x a day to just taking it before my workouts).
