Hey guys. I do quads on fridays(I split up legs and do hamis and calves on a separate day) and I was wondering how many sets is good. I do eight sets right now, with 3 on squats, 3 extensions, and 2 lunges. After this workout my legs are dead, and are sore for the whole weekend, which is why i work them on friday so I dont have to walk the mile long Ohio State campus. Should I add a couple more sets, or a new exercise like presses to my work out, or is a good workout on eight sets enough? Thanks for the help.
I just do 5 sets of squats. But I have the world's smallest thighs (22") but they're strong as hell (295 pounds for 16 reps). Think it's genetic, you should see my dad.
Well if your still growing with that work out continue with it. If not just change it up here and there. But it sounds like it is working good for you.
