NSCA-CPT question
Hi, i have a question regarding the NCSA-CPT test. For the people that have taken it without having a bachelors degree in the subject area, how difficult would you rate the test? Also, how much did you study to prepare for the test?
Thanks for your help

just got the textbook and the first chapter is ridiculous. It breaks the muscle down to the smallest part.

We knew the world would not be the same. A few people laughed, a few people cried. Most people were silent. I remembered the line from the Hindu scripture, the Bhagavad-Gita; Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, 'Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.' I suppose we all thought that, one way or another

I'm afraid that all the good certifying organisations go into that level of detail. Forget about how easy or difficult it was for other people. You are in your own unique situation, so do what you have to do. The exam has the reputation of being tough, so take that on board and study hard. I did the CSCS with an Engineering degree and, while it was tough, I passed it (didn't get the distinction though, but I didn't do much study for it either). I have previous PT certs which helped. I would love to have been able to study more for it, but I just didn't find the time. I have two full time jobs and a few infrequent commitments too.

Really? Wow, I'm afraid to say that I didn't know that. I presumed that a very high score was what got you a distinction (that's the way exams over here work, usually if you get a score of more than 95%)
I must look into that so.
