Has anyone used GNC Pro Performance Amplified Creatine 189, which is said to provide the power of 5 grams creatine monohydrate in 2 tablets (each is 1250mgs of creatine hydrochloride)? Does it work? Should you take one tablet before, one after a work out? Do you need to cycle, and if so for how long?
Kind regards,
RT

yes i have tried it, i used it for two months and can say that i am 100% certain that it does not work. jus get a powder , any brand is fine as long as it is made from creapure monochrized creatine.
dont shop at gnci rep everybody who helps.
owe reps for life to:
pauleccles, jhendi82, throwanade, laxmatt, ccm, yoj, metalman302

I've been on it for about a month now and I take two tablets pre workout and two tablets post, on off days I just take two tablets. This is my first time taking creatine so i can't say that I haven't made gains off of it. I can say that it helps with my endurance when i take it pre workout and I can lift longer. But other than that I haven't noticed any mass gains yet, and I decided to order Green MAGnitude for my next creatine product to try that out.

Here's what you need to do, take that pill drop it in a glass of water leave it there for a few days. Notice it not disolving? It's junk. Anytime you walk into gnc asking for any product there gonna push their products. You know why? They make money off them. Working or not. There gonna sell theirs over anyone elses. If you learn anything from this reply. Don't buy from gnc. Search products online read reviews then go from there. Who honestly wants to buy a product from some 50 year old woman telling you it works when it obviously hasn't worked for her.

It provides the power of 5g of creatine HCL. Not mono. It has 0 creatine mono in it
The reason why its not going to dissolve in a glass of water is because ANY FORM of creatine is insoluble in water you ****stick. Dont sit there and bash on GNC just because the shmuck who works at your GNC cant hold her own. Theres plenty of knowledgeable employees working at GNC.

I have been taking this stuff for a few days now. I'm not sure why people would say it's trash and say it doesn't work. I don't know that I saw "huge gains" with the mono I was taking either but I'm used to taking creatine now and I've not noticed any reduction in the intensity or duration of my workouts...so I can only say my observation is that it's at least as good as what I was taking. I suppose time will tell. Please don't take this as an endorsement or me advising anyone to buy it. I'm just giving my observations so far.
I've read a lot of good things about creatine hydrochloride, which is what 189 is. Sure the pills are big and taste nasty but I cut them up and get past it. The creatine mono powder I was taking bloated me for some reason and gave me belches. The 189 doesn't do that or upset my stomach at all. I've had no digestion problems with it that I can tell. Plus, according to what I've read, there is no uptake or maintenance cycling issues. You can take it daily at the prescribed dosage with no issues.
And as far as GNC goes...I know it's a bit more costly but I like buying locally. And the people that work at the GNC I go to are very knowledgeable and very polite. /shrugs

I have not tried and probably never will. Ive been burned too many times by creatine products. Some of them worked but they sold 30 or 40 servings for 50 bucks. Im talking about Cell tech, yes it worked but was over priced creatine mono. Creakic did just about nothing for me. Kre-alklyn did zero for me. Ive learned that Creapure creatine 200 servings for 15 bucks works just as good as Cell tech, Con-crete, and others. The only other creatine id consider trying now is a nitrate bound form. Other wise, make mine Creapure.

I've been taking Amp 189 for a grand total of about 5 days- not a long time to judge, I know. Having taken powder before years ago, I decided to try the tablets because I didn't want to bloat up. Being a chick, water retention is NOT my favorite thing...lol I've been crushing the tabs into juice in order to improve absorption. Not a lot of visual results in such little time, but I've already noticed that I can work out longer and harder.

Here is another thing you can try- put a slice of turkey in in a glass of water and leave it there for a few days. Notice it not dissolving?- You stomach uses acid and enzymes for digestion. A more accurate test would be to put the pill in some battery acid and watch. As far as the original question goes, I've tried it before back when i still used to go to GNC. I would tell you to stick to mono. If you have problems with water retention, try more cardio

Well I have stopped taking the 189. The pills were just too difficult to swallow even when cut in half, crushed they were still terrible. It seemed like after a little while I wasn't getting much from the CHCL. So I switched back to the Body Fortress CM and within a few days I noticed a difference.
I couldn't recommend this product based upon my experience.

I tried amplified creatine 189 back in the day when I didn't research before I purchased. I too didn't notice a freaking thing after a couple months of use. I ended up giving it to a friend. Can't go wrong with good ol fashioned CM and grape juice or sizeon mp. Although I'm really liking green mag.
I eat.

I need some help with this product
So I got these a week or two ago and the other day I noticed them completely intact in my poopy
I want to be completely pro active about this because I still have a bottle and a half of this stuff and I want to use it (not throw it in the trash).
Is there a way to make the pills break down in my belly ?
Please help?

My friend gave me about a quarter of what was left in his bottle, been on it for over 2 weeks, 2 pills a day, I definitely feel bigger. Then again, I haven't used pre-workout in over 4 months and just started up on that again as well, so it could be that. Bottom line is I got it for free from a friend, so that's why I'm on it. Wouldn't have bought a bottle because most of this stuff is psychological.

Reviews on here are all negative towards GNC brand b/c everyone on here only buys third party off BB.com therefore, of course this product is horrible. Why talk positively on another company when you get your sups else where? GNC has better prices IF you know how to buy using proper promos. 189 is definitely worth trying. Everyone will have different results. just need to find what works for you!

Does not dissolve in stomach!
Both my sons have been taking it with little results. This is gross but today, August 12, 2015, my son called me and said when he went to the bathroom he could see the two creatine pills in his stool. He didn't flush it and when I got home tonight, sure enough both the pills were in his stool not dissolved at all.....
