Is Maltrodextrin not a good complex carb to have in the mornings and immediately post workout?

Thanks. I thought it was a complex carbohydrate. The bag http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/now/carbo.html says, 100% complex carbohydrates on the front of it.
    Please advise.
Hate to think that ive been slamming simple carbs in the morning.

So based on some replies I should elminate it from my morning meal #1 and replace with some oatmeal? Or is the high index still ok for the morning shake?

definitely do not take malt. for breakfast. that will spike your insulin big time and you dont want that when you work out several hours later. oatmeal is king of breakfast carbs.

get some good fats in as well. natty pb before bed, flaxseed oil in the morning.
