Apparently Creatine will dissolve in hot water.
Does boiling water degrade the creatine in any way?

Creatine in hot water?

The melting/boiling point of creatine monohydrate (not sure about other creatines) is 303 C/577 F. So, unless if you're putting creatine in such extreme conditions, I can't see it being too much of a problem.
Another option if you're using mono is just take a scoop in your mouth and wash it down with water.

Thanks 5Six,
I'm mixing it in my boiling water that I use for coffee.
It seems to dissolve pretty well and the coffee tastes great.
Yes, I've heard that coffee+creatine reduces the effectiveness of creatine, but I'm not convinced.
The diuretic effects of Coffee don't necessarily translate to problems with absorption into muscle cells. But those who fight for right must remember St. Augustine's sage words,

Creatine + Cofffee: Endorsement
Just an FYI,
I'm coming to the conclusion that creatine in coffee is the way to go.
There is no describable difference in taste, (it is different, but if you don't do a side by side, you won't know) and it dissolves completely.
I'm also convinced that the heat will not affect the creatine either.
Since creatine is in cooked beef, why would it not also stay in hot coffee? But those who fight for right must remember St. Augustine's sage words,
