Just got home from picking up one heck of a deal. I got a set of Ivanko dumbbells 5-40 for 250! With a Ivanko dumbbell rack! Its incredible! I couldnt be happier and the people were really nice. I was almost too hyped up to drive. Check it out guys.

Sweet deal bro I love that rack too..........I scored a set of hex this past weekend 15-45s for $170 but not nearly as nice as yours way to go man.
Shoot they probably charged $250 for the rack alone brand new man.

Interesting...same as the Costco Nautilus rack. Costco sold them for $500 for a while, then even cheaper than that, and I still see them on the local classifieds for $800-1000 used and people still buy them.Originally Posted by GearTripper

DOnt know wat the big deal is with Ivanko, its an old name, but alot of the stuff with that name imprinted isnt made by them. You could have gotten a used set of 5-50 powerblocks for about the same price. Not really a good deal, not even an average deal.

True, but be careful of ruined stuff that they fail to mention. Rust, damaged frame, missing bolts, etc. It's great when you can go examine it, but even then you look at the deal and sometimes overlook major stuff in which case you can't complain cause they say... well... I let you see it.

No crack... I just know the facts because I once had this very same setup purchased brand-new from Costco for the same price. Actually my girlfriend bought it for me as a gift, but she didn't know any better at the time. It's total crap with hollow plastic handles and whatnot not even worthy of the Ivanko name. I know of at least several instances with Costco in the last few years alone, two versions of the dumbbells sets discussed in this thread, two different smith-like machines (one white and one gray), at at least one other "home-gym" type machine that's currently even listed with Costco. Craigslist is definitely the best. There was a guy moving who sold his power rack, bench, 400 lbs of weights, bars, and other gym type equipment for 300$
I jumped on a deal before that (or id be all over that)
