Sometimes the complexity of a carbohydrate doesn't really imply that it won't spike insulin. Cereal spikes insulin like crazy, so do pastas and it depends on the bread.
Oats > all other choices given.
Oh and again, I am a technical ass.. maltodextrin is a complex carb but with a similar GI to that of glucose

"Cereal" is a pretty broad term -- the cereal I eat is a mix of corn, oats, wheat, and rice, all whole grains. Not exactly Lucky Charms.

Theres 2 good chapters on insulin sensitivity, carbs and insulin etc for endos in derek charlebois' e-book - you can download it free here - definately helped me understand the whole thing better
