Killer Leg workouts

Has anyone here totally exhausted their legs? I finally started a leg routine, and could barly walk for a couple days! The funny thing was they didn't feel sore just worn out (exausted). I was walking like I was seventy. I did the same workout this week except used a belt and seem to be fine.
Any ideas what causes this/ or have a killer leg workout to share?

Reps 6-8
Squats 3 sets
Hack Squats 4 sets
Romanian Deadlifts 4 sets
Seated Calf Raises 3 sets

The belt probably just gave you more support and took a bit of the stress off of your legs. Thats probably all it was. But yes i do kill my legs. This is what I do....

Zercher Squats 3 sets...theyre evil but I love em!
Front Squats 3 sets
Squats 4 sets
Leg Extensions 2 sets
Leg Curls 2 sets
Standing calf raises 3 sets
Seated Calf Raises 3 sets

Its killer...

Zercher squats are kind of like front squats. Put the bar at around the bottom of your chest on the rack and put the bar in the crease of your elbows or on your upper forearms, almost like holding a baby. Then keep the same basic good form of a regular squat. It rocks your core pretty hard and works your legs pretty good. They kill the forearms, but its worth it. I ****in love em. Theyve definately made my legs grow faster than just doing regular squats. I started doing em again after a couple years break about a month ago and my legs started growing again. Just go on youtube and search zercher squats and theres plenty of videos on em.
