I Just Bought Bodycraft F660 From iFitnessdirect.com for..
Hi everyone
I just placed a order for the bodycraft F660 ( HipSled/Hack Machine) from
http://www.ifitnessdirect.com who's been around for 10 years now so should be reliable.
I first spoke with Andy via live chat who was very nice and very helpful. He gave me the best price of $1385 ( I had a quote for $1399 from another site )free shipping and no taxes of course.
Well as you can see Andy beat the price so i made the order. The toll free number is 1-800-771-2730 ..ask for Andy he will help you out with something or price match another site.
If anyone is interested in buying the F660 i would suggest you buy one now.....Reason being is Bodycraft is raising the MSRP price to $1999 so the new asking price will increase.
These price increases are happening all over due to the rising cost of steel and gas so if anyone is thinking about buying anything i would suggest
getting on the ball and placing your order.
I will update as always on the F660 and the service of ifitness.com and the delivery itself.

It's a beautiful machine, much nicer than my Body Solid. http://www.bodysolid.com/Item.aspx?I...%26+Hack+Squat
It has linear bearings and it's VERY smooth, you'll love it.That's a great price too, well worth the money.

Yes when i did my research last year on sleds the bodysolid was in the running but then i got a quote on the F660 for $1399 .
The quote still stood and as you can see ifitness beat the quote by a few bucks.
If the quote wasn't valid any longer and couldn't get a deal ( Bodycraft) i would have gone with the bodysolid for sure but i really had my heart set on the bodycraft . My friend has it and i tried it out and knew i had to have it.
Takecare and be well ..

I just put mine together last night. Wait till you see the instruction manual--it's a fu**ing abomination. I think the guy that made it was dyslexic, high, drunk or all of the above. Anyways. The machine itself is awesome once all the bolts are tightened. I still can't see much difference between a hack squat and the exercise that bodycraft calls a "donkey squat." They both hit the quads hard and feel almost identical.

looks nice, but how much does it hold?
I often wonder as the NYBB mega hip sled is the only one that holds what I leg press

It took me about 2 hrs and 15 mins of actual assembly time plus about another 20-30 min of unpacking. It ships in three boxes and they each weigh over 100lbs.
The machine is rated to max at 1000 lbs. With the design of the plate holders, you would be able to put 8 45 lb plates per side for a total of 16 plates which equals 720 lbs. If you can push more, then 100lb plates are gonna be necessary.
I tried it for the first time early today. I did leg press, front hack squat(facing the machine), back hack squat, "donkey squats" and then some calf work. I won't normally don't do that many different exercises, but I wanted to see how it handled. I was VERY impressed. I've used the Yukon 7 degree leg press for years so I guess my standards may not be high, but this is a badass machine. I had no pressure on my back or knees, and my legs already have DOMS-- I guess I hit my muscles differently with this thing. Well worth the investment of my "economic stimulus" check.

I spoke with Andy ( From Ifitnessdirect.com ) via live chat yesterday (Friday May 16th ) and asked if my F660 shipped.
He emailed bodycraft and CC me the reply from Bodycraft. They said it should have just made it out ( Processed ) being that my order made it just in time due to the fact that the F660 is now backordered ( According to Bodycraft ) 2 months.
I'm waiting on the shipping company to call me with the delivery date.
Anyway Andy said he will call /email me with any info regarding my order.
I'm so excited and can't wait to get this beauty ..Blue

It took 19 days to get mine. and i have no idea what the carriage weighs, but it's really heavy. My wife had to help me get it in place and then she had to hold it while I bolted it onto the frame.

Hi RG
I hope i don't have to wait 19 days Geeez i didn't think about needing help installing the carriage as it never crossed my mind.
Maybe i'll weight it before i install it or I'll just call Bodycraft and ask.
Thanks

I called bodycraft Saturday to find out what's the weight of the carriage . No one answered (I think they are closed on Saturday's ) so i left my cell number with customer service voice mail.
Well Nick was nice enough to get back to me today and said he wasn't sure so he asked someone in the office who said it weighs about 55 lbs to 65lbs. Really not a good enough answer so I'll have to weigh it myself if possible.
I don't know but call me a retard but i like to know how much weight i'm moving. With a 45 degree sled it should be about 75% of the weight being moved....I think
Anyway i asked about my order and he said it was being sent out today. What i don't understand why is it being shipped out today when i placed the order last week.To be fair Nick from customer service had nothing to do with this but was nice enough to look into it for me.
Remember I called Andy Friday from ifitnessdirect.com who i placed the order with and he said it should have made it thru ( According to Todd from Bodycraft ) and sent out today (Friday) .
You know a few days is no big deal but don't tell me it went out Friday when in fact it didn't. Just be up front and honest bodycraft.
I don't think Andy ( ifitnessdirect.com ) is the cause of this. He only went by what Todd from Bodycraft told him which he relayed to me .
When i bought my bodysolid Crossover from fitnessfactory.com they called the next day telling me it shipped and gave me the shipping company's name phone number and it arrived in a few days.
Ifitness.com couldn't do the same because Bodycraft never shipped it or processed the order .
Oh well that's it for me..

Yes of course... I have a power rack for a while now. I have this one which was the 8510. The only difference is they made the 8515 a few inches deeper. It's a solid rack (11 gauge) and very happy with it.
I also have several bars including a deadlift / hex bar ..T-bar set-up for rows..safety squat bar which i use for box squats and my supra bars and a bunch of other doo dads. I'll be giving away my ez curl bar and tri bar because they are too hard on my wrist.
Blue
My Rack
I also have this GHR

which i can changed to this by just exchanging the the footrest to the hand handle and pow i have a HIP EXTENSION MACHINE. It has Pillow Block bearings which are very smooooth. The bar on the hip extension has OLY sleeves for OLY weights .

Close. Try cos(45) = 0.7071 or 70.71%.
Where the heck are you going to put such a gigantic machine? Weren't you so worried about a few inches from the cable machine you just got?
Also, how was the Yukon 7deg sled? Isn't that a fairly small machine compared to the F660?

Ahhhhhh I always had room set aside for the sled since over a year ago when i started researching sleds. I knew i would be getting it as it was just a matter of time. I Gave away 2 dressers last year to make room. I have 3 huge closets and really didn't need the dressers
It was more about having to move things around all the time which was a pain and always blocking something. I have small fold away bench now. I gave away my huge FID which weighed a ton and i always had to move that in and out of the cage ( Freaking thing blocked my path )when doing deadlifts /box squats.
I sold my hex dumbells and stand for them which gave me back allot of space also.
Now i don't have to move anything and have a clear path all around . I can jump right in and workout by moving the pin in the crossover or just slapping on some weights on the sled or just folding up my tiny bench and slinging it on top of rack and do my deadlifts or box squats.
Ahh 70.71 % ...i was close

Actually it's not that big compare to other's.
Dimensions: 67" Long X 40" Wide X 54" Tall
As u can see it's only 40" wide and what 5 ft 7" long and the height doesn't mean anything.
My problem with space is how wide (Depth) things are so this sled is good for me. I have fairly big rooms but it's when you line things up against walls then you find the center of the room is all taken up with wide things and no path is left.

I've used the yukon for years. I bought it when I was younger and didn't know any better. When I finally got strong enough to push some decent weight with it, it kind of sucked ergonomically. That thing always gave me exertion headaches from lying down like that. And even though it's not as bad on the back as a vertical leg press, it's not a whole lot better. I also have long legs, so doing calf presses was awkward because I would always hit the top of the machine over and over.
As far as space, the footprint of the bodycraft is only about a foot longer and the same width as the yukon.

Andy from ifitnessdirect.com was kind enough to email me today with shipping company name /phone number and tracking number.
I checked the tracking on the shipping site and it's at a " Breaking Point " and should be delivered on the 22nd .

Shipping company called me today and said it will arrive Thursday May 22nd I asked if they can make it a afternoon delivery and she said no problem
When i called bodycraft last Saturday to inquire about the weight of the carriage i actually left 2 messages ..one with customer service ( Nick )who called me back Monday and said it was around 55lbs to 65lbs.
Well today i got a another call from Bodycraft ( I forgot his name but he was very nice and polite ) and they actually weighed it this time and said it weighs 75 lbs.
So the carriage for the F 660 weighs 75 lbs if anyone wants to know ..I KNOW I DO !
Thanks Bodycraft for getting back to me with this information....Now That's Customer Service

I didn't buy a mat for the sled ( Have one for rack tho) and after looking at the pic I don't think i need one because it has plastic caps at the end of foot rests.
Do you think it will be a problem ?
It will be on a wooden floor by the way ..

you might want to pick up a stall mat or something to place under it. Those plastic caps aren't that great, and the weight of the machine loaded up could potentially do some damage to a wooden floor. I picked one up from TSC for $40 to put under mine.
