Best overall protein bar to snack on throughout the day?

I'm looking to get a pretty large supply of protein bars that I can eat when I get hungry as a snack once or maybe twice throughout the day. Keep in mind I'm trying to clean bulk, I'm very skinny (check my journal in sig).

What is the best overall protein bar for that with both taste and nutrition considered?

The only bars I've tried were Met-Rx Protein Plus Mud Pie Fusion bars and they were delicious, but I don't really know how they stack up against other bars nutritionally.

Looking through the bars here I found: http://bodybuilding.com/store/iss/pro42.html - ISS Research Pro42 and those bars look very good nutrition-wise. How do they taste/what's the best flavor? They look a bit better for you than Met-Rx Protein Plus bars.

VPX Zero Impact are pretty hard to beat nutritionally, I like the chocolate PB bars and have yet to try the pumpkin flavor. It's more of a meal replacement bar rather than a protein bar as it provides a solid macronutrient profile for a bar.

Aren't those VPX bars a bit high in fat?

Look at my journal to see the types of food I'm eating.

Yeah, there a bit high but the majority of it comes from good sources like EFA's from nuts, CLA, and Sesamin. I'd limit to once a day if you go with the VPX bars.

These Sustain bars have a great profile with about half the fat content if you want to check them out: http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/design/sustain.html

I think I'm going to try out the VPX bars and I'll just have one a day. Do they sell them at Costco so I could buy a good amount of them for cheaper?
