Soreness in left trap and shoulder

I have a slight problem developing. I have soreness in my left shoulder and trap after a workout. And my left trap is growing more than my right trap. When I look in the mirror and I feel them the muscle on the left is harder and bigger than the right. And there isnt any swelling or puffy fluid going on it's just solid muscle but it's always sore after a workout and the right shoulder isnt. Ive even went to doing iso machines where each arm is seperate to make sure i wasn't doing all the work with my left side and i do dumbbells and the same thing still happens. Anyone have a idea whats going on?

Maybe you strained or hurt something. Ive done isos while strained before, and the hurt side is always more sore no matter what.
