Well... i assume your comparing it to whey... which is gone in half an hour... so of course it does...?

Do it all the time, tastes great
i dont advocate buying casein proteins because you can get plenty from whole food which do the job just as good if not better then powders.
To anwser the question I dont think its a complete difference, if you had a steak or a shake the choice is up to you.
Opinoins are going to vary between each individual, but to each his own.

Depends on what your trying to do. Casein breaks down slower than regular whey so it will help at night when trying to put on mass in the winter. On the other-hand however, one would assume you would feel fuller for a longer time helping you curve hunger when cutting. I guess it depends on how you view it.

ohh please. I don't know about anyone else but I certainly don't want to try to go to sleep with a whole steak meal in my stomach. A casein / whey shake is also a lot less expensive than a whole meal, I can sleep well and wake up not hungry. Yes whole foods for as many other meals of the day as absolutely possible is the way to go (except post workout) but a well formulated shake before bed is the better option

Are you saying that because you sell a casein based product? I sleep well every night eating whole food meals before bed as does everyone else who eventually figures out that eating protein powders all the time, especially before bed, is bull****. I'd prefer 50 grams of eggwhites and couple tablespoons of natty PB which is certainly cheaper then ALL the casein products on the market per gram of protein.

hey man if it works for you that's awesome and I recommend you stick with it, I have trouble sleeping on a full stomach and if I had no shake to drink before bed I would rather go to bed on an empty (assuming I ate dinner by about 7) than eat something like another steak meal..
PLUS, like I said, the shake is much cheaper than a steak (and the last time I checked even cheaper than cottage cheese which I love btw) so any argument on $$$ is worthlessXtreme Formulations

x2 that, whole foods contain a lot more vitamins/minerals which will be more beneficial to the body very a protein powder.
A serving of cottage cheese that yields 15g of protein is nearly 40-50 cents
A serving of a casein protein powder by a higher notch company yields almost a dollar if not more,
lets not forget the vitamins/minerals taht come from whole foods will be superior over a powder.
i agree eating is perfectly fine if it settles for the individual, but to each his own, if people perfer to have shakes let it be, you can still get by with whole foods and it will be a lot easier on the wallet in most circumstances.

Shakes do offer a convenience and if you cannot tolerate food prebed then it's a good option. They are obviously a lot easier to prepare and I notice less if any acid reflux in comparison to whole food prebed. But food leaves me feeling more satiated in the morning.
Patently false. If the vitamin or mineral is the same then the whole food version will not be superior. In fact with whole foods you cannot control the various forms of vits and mins so there may in fact be competition and thus the multi, synthetic or formulated product will in fact be superior.Yes, there is indeed a deeper component to it all.
